We had a great couple of weeks staying in this property. The location was perfect - 20 minutes to Granada, 30 minutes to the beaches and 20 minutes into the mountains. The cottage is on the edge of the town ( easy walking distance in the morning for bread). Durcal is a lovely little town with everything you need and not at all touristy. There is a large supermarket nearby and lots of cafes.
The house is set in beautiful private, grounds with a lovely pool, outside sitting area and table and chairs. We spent most of our time outside as although the weather was hot, there was plenty of shade if we needed it. The inside of the house was quite small and dark ( it kept very cool so didn't need air con on much) though well equipped, with nice extras like herbs, washing up liquid, toilet rolls etc. Note - there was no pool/beach towels so bring your own. The upstairs bedroom is accessed up a loft ladder so not suitable for young children or elderly.
It would have benefited from a written instruction book for the house, with information on working the cooker, wifi, air con etc and maybe some hints about best places to go.
Overall we had a great holiday ( 2 adults and 3 older teenagers) and would thoroughly recommend it.
