NB: Loch mar 25 metros .. Esta casa de campo destacada com muito bom gosto está situada a poucos metros do Loch Long e oferece vistas deslumbrantes sobre o mar aberto. Situado dentro do Parque Nacional Loch Lomond e Trossachs, o The Heron, antigamente as salas de chá da aldeia, está localizado na aldeia de Ardentinny, perto de Dunoon. Está situado ao lado da Floresta Argyll, que oferece vários trilhos florestais, passeios marcados e ciclovias, todos facilmente acessíveis à sua porta. A casa fica a apenas 25 metros da costa, onde você pode andar, pescar, lançar uma canoa ou apenas descansar sobre as rochas, relaxar e apreciar a vista. Another lovely Christmas spent at the Heron. The cottage could do with a bit of a revamp, but despite this, a very comfy well equipped cottage. Very peaceful location with lovely view over Loch Long. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for the generous Christmas hamper.

The pictures do not show how spacious The Heron is and it’s also very comfortable with much better quality settee and chairs than most holiday cottages. Beautiful view across Loch Long and a lovely rear fully enclosed garden at the back. Saw a While Tailed Eagle, the resident red squirrel and a host of birds both on the feeder and on the lovely beach walk. A beautiful home from home. Absolutely loved our week away at the Heron and hope to return again at some point in the not too distant future. A good friend of mine recommended it and reading the reviews, you can see why people return again. It is a comfortable, spotless and well equipped home from home and the scenery from the cottage is incredible. We all felt totally relaxed and could easily have stayed a further week. On the back of our stay, another good friend has booked the cottage as well. Thoroughly recommend this lovely cottage in such beautiful surroundings. Amazing cottage, amazing views, amazing walks and wildlife.

Amazing cottage, amazing views, amazing walks and wildlife. The cottage has everything you need. Living area is fabulous! Will miss drinking my morning coffee looking at those views. Loved every minute and so did my fur-baby. Would book again in a heart-beat!

The Heron is a great cottage views and location, the nearest shop was a garage near Dunoon a few mil

The Heron is a great cottage views and location, the nearest shop was a garage near Dunoon a few miles away but they had all we needed. Looking out over the Loch in the morning with a brew couldnt beat it.We went for weeks sea fishing but the fishing was poor, price for a week was a little steep but the views in the surrounding area are priceless.

The location of The Heron couldn't be any better as it's right on the Loch. Shame about the weather but that can't be helped. Our holiday was relaxing. The view from the windows are spectacular. The binoculars and telescope are much appreciated. The dogs loved being in the water every day! The garden is safe for them. All surrounding areas are very dog friendly and we found all the people we met very friendly. Would love to stay there again. 😊🐾👍

Stunning location, lovely space, so peaceful and relaxing with great walks on your door step. Could have done with a little welcome pack as there are no shops or deliveries available and we arrived very late at night but would definitely recommend and go back.

Our 2nd visit to this wonderful cottage .

Our 2nd visit to this wonderful cottage . It is clean comfortable and privilege to stay there. the Loch is great to sit and watch . We saw dolphins seals and otters the variety of birds is second to none . the local Pub The Ardentinny is in a great location over looking the loch the food is fantastic and good value . The best thing about this cottage you can do as much or as little you like . We have all ready booked again for next year

4th visit to the Heron and we really do love the cottage and the area.

4th visit to the Heron and we really do love the cottage and the area. Over the years improvements have been made new electric heaters, soft furnishings etc but this time I have to be honest the internal paintwork throughout was looking very tired otherwise it’s fantastic.
