Het buitenplaatsje is wat beperkt Met uitzcht op Holyloch en de veerboten die aan het piertje aanleggen. Ze liggen daar aan de pierEr rijden geen auto's op en af. Gelukkig maar De vriendelijke buurman heeft het gelukkig wat opgevrolijkt met bloempotten. We hebben het heerlijk gehad!"

"The house is one of a kind collective museum style which is very nice we really enjoyed our stay even our relatives when saw the pictures they said we have to stay in the house everything was good very clean and open and private which was a plus our thing was lovely we enjoyed every moment close to everything and the house is already packed and ready to stay I highly recommended"

"Lodge was spotless, good size, hot tub great and very relaxing.Bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in the mattress needs replacing.Shower great very powerful however it didn’t drain very well and folded the floor, kitchen was great but utensils need reviewing, ie new saucepans and frying pan, oven trays needed ."

"We had a wonderful time. The cottage was cozy and well appointed with everything we needed. The beds warm and comfortable. It was a perfect spot for our family. The only warning is that the one lane road is a little tricky- just go slow!"

"What a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. On an arrival it was lovely to have a little welcome package and to find the cottage spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed. No need to have brought wash liquid, toilet rolls etc. The surrounding area is fantastic and is convenient for local amenities.Wish we could have stayed longer. "

"We had a wonderful few days staying in The Old Smiddy cottage. Fiona and David were wonderful hosts, very attentive whilst being happy to give us our space. The cottage itself was very comfortable, all the rooms were a nice size, very clean and well presented. The garden was lovely and we particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife in the burn from the garden!The area is fantastic for enjoying nature and family activities.We would definitely recommend staying here for a couple or small family."

"Absolutely everything you could need (4 hairdryers!) in a beautiful old cottage with views across the lock to distant hills. 300 yards to Coop supermarket, plenty of car parking, short walk to Inverary town centre. Comfortable beds and a very friendly, helpful host.I had a great time touring the Argyll area and staying in admiring the views. Nice garden and sheltered outdoor breakfast/coffee area. Perfect for me!"
