"Great stay in West Hartford for a 2 day lacrosse event. Check in was easy, communication with Mark was speedy and the house had everything we needed including the ability to wash some dirty clothes. "The location as it related to my trip couldn’t have been any better. The apartment was super-clean and spacious. I admire the detail on the stairway leading up to the apartment (it’s the little things👍). I will most definitely stay here again when I’m in town. Aaaaaaand that was one, humongous TV screen! "I will start with the positive; Great Location, safe, clean, ample space, very nice owners. Unfortunately this young couple doesn’t seem to have done this before. Bed size was not listed & it was our own fault for not asking. The double bed was not what we’d expected, the sheets were pilled & bed really not made top sheet & comforter just on top of the bed. "Overall do not stay in this house! They are scamming people! They say they are military family yet took advantage of one!! Still owe me my refund and refuse to answer VRBO to give the okay to refund my money! This place was not clean it was very unsanitary and there were drug paraphernalia in the backyard! Towels wet and dirty on the bathroom floor and one of the bedrooms the sheets were dirty in the floor claimed that the house keeper cleaned it! The pool was disgusting!! I have videos pictures...

"Our family stayed at this property while enjoying family weekend at UConn. The home was a nice distance between campus and fun activities. The house was clean and well stocked with amenities. "This is a charming house that actually is even better than the photos! Spotless and organized. Kitchen is perfectly stocked. Came with a bag of nice Italian coffee, Kurig and teas with refrigerated creamer. Bed was terrific and large. AC and Heat easy to use. Easy to find and surrounded by everything you need, like food, coffee, bagels, restaurants."

"The Treehouse at Lake Hayward has been an amazing place to stay! I have stayed at this property on more than one occasion and the host has been nothing shy of accommodating and welcoming. "You get what you pay for. It's outdated and not spotlessly clean, but it's nice enough. And you're not going to get much cheaper than this 10 minutes from Hartford. I've stayed twice now and had no issues. Good enough place to lay your head and the people working were pleasant and accommodating. Some decent food within walking distance and a great beer shop nearby too "
