"It's such a nice place in such a charming area. Their thatched roof looks so very cool. Their staff is just excellent, they all take pride in doing an excellent job. I met the sous chef twice, she and her husband (the chef) make a great team. They have a lovely old bar and I took two friends there for the Sunday roast dinner. They have a good sized parking lot. You won't be at all disappointed."

"We stayed at the Brace of Pheasants for one night and it was really lovely. The room was big, airy and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was lovely. We ate dinner in the pub and it was absolutely delicious. I am coeliac and Matt, the owner, was very knowledgeable when helping me to decide what to have. There were several choices for me and I can thoroughly recommend the lamb. My husband was on crutches when we stayed and the staff were very thoughtful and...

"We stayed here 2 nights whilst visiting the area, what a great find. The accommodation is in a separate building set behind the pub in the beer garden..the room was comfortable with a lovely bathroom. We had our evening meals in the pub and also breakfast, what fantastic food, 10/10 and the service from the owners and their team was first class. Thankyou. Nog Inn.."

"The hotel area is very nice and food is excellent. However the room was very poor. It was small, had a large low beam right across the access areas of the room that is impossible to avoid. The room was freezing when I arrived and the TV didn't work, despite the best efforts of the staff"
