"It was an absolutely gorgeous property and the host, Greg, was very hospitable and very kind. The property was very well-maintained and it was so nice to get out of the city life and just be out in the country. It was very quiet and relaxing. There are a lot of activities that you can sign up for. It is a horse farm, so we did a trail ride and had a lesson. "The cottage is beautiful, inside and out, and has gorgeous views of the nearby water. It is artfully decorated, which is not surprising since the host is an accomplished artist. The cottage is conveniently located within 15 minutes of Friday Harbor, and within easy access to all points of interest on San Juan Island. We enjoyed our stay immensely and also enjoyed the company of the host‘s friendly dogs and cats. We will definitely try to stay here again if we return to San Juan Island."

"We booked this and then at 4:40pm the day of our reservation the VRBO sent us an email saying that it was canceled. It was lucky that I didn't see the email and went anyway and met the owner who had openings. It ended up being cheaper than listed and the problem is this is a new owner who didn't set up the listing. He has tried many times to shut down this listing but VRBO won't let him. You can book this on the other well known site and it will get you an actual reservation. The owner and place...
