"It is a charming hotel that makes you feel at home. There are just 16 rooms so it tends to be more intimate than standard resorts.
Our room was number 9 on the superior floor reached by stairs. It is a cozy apartmente with room, kitchen, living room, bathroom and a small porch where you can rest while having breakfast or reading a book. The air condition is a need.

"We changed rooms 4 times. Almost 3 days we spent waiting at the desk to change rooms. Rooms had mold on the AC vents, bathrooms and the musty smell made my asthma worse. "I wanted to love Hodges Bay but we had an overall ok stay. Our transportation from the airport was mishandled but was fixed at the end and our return shuttle to the airport was taken care of. The resort was fairly empty as we often had the pool to ourselves and got familiar with other guests quickly.
