"Came down from Albuquerque for the weekend to explore Silver City and the Gila Forest. The Roadrunner is within a mile from downtown Silver City, and a great central location to be if you plan to visit the popular tourist attractions in the area! There is also a lovely view of the sunrise (see photo) right out the front door/deck with furniture! This quant home was very clean and modern, with all the amenities one could need! "Property was so clean and comfortable. Beds were amazingly soft. Definately returning in the future...."

"I had the best stay here. The property and home were beautiful and clean. The host was friendly, welcoming and made sure I was comfortable. The hot tub and front porch were unexpected delights as were the hosts two dogs. I could have sat on the porch for hours watching the hummingbirds and relaxing. If you’re looking for peace, quiet and nature, this is definitely the place to stay. I can’t wait to come back!"

"Cozy spot to stay, beautiful scenery with everything you need right in the home!"

"A wonderfully quiet cabin in the mountains, immaculately clean and furnished with every amenity you can reasonably imagine. Comfortable bed, pleasant outdoor spaces--we didn't enjoy looking at the corral so much, though the cottonwoods are pretty, but the other side of the house entirely faces the forest. Lots of feeders that attracted birds, squirrels, and chipmunks. Communication from the host was exceptionally clear, accurate, and quick. I was worried when I read that there were dogs on the...

"Calm, peaceful, quiet. The house and property were perfect for a quick weekend getaway. Beautiful scenery and awesome weather made this trip an amazing experience! Will come back soon"

"The property/ neighborhood was very quiet. The property has a very tall fence for privacy. There was plenty of room for parking, turning around. We needed to reach the host for a minor issue which was quickly resolved. "

"Quaint cottage in the heart of Silver Springs. Easy access to everything and couldn't beat the location for Tour of the Gila. Small, but very comfortable. We loved the yard for our two large dogs. Had everything we could need, including a BBQ grill."

"Quirky and cool house on a large lot with wonderful views of the mountains. Had a great time here with our kids discovering the Mimbres valley and the surrounding areas! House is showing its age a bit but no major issues and the hosts were very responsive and friendly. Definitely a place we would love to come back to!"

"Great location, even though the listing showed it in a different area and gave the wrong address, it was still close to where I wanted and I was able to find it by remembering the picture. Owner was very helpful and we arrived to a very clean, cozy cabin with a christmas tree which the kids loved! The kitchen was stocked although we had brought our own items, it was very helpful to have condiments and sugar and coffee. They also provided items to make smores!"

"This cozy little inn was clean, quiet, and convenient to Gila National Forest and Great Divide Bike Trail, which is just what we wanted. "

"We had a a wonderful time staying at Lake Roberts over Christmas! The wilderness setting and surrounding landscapes were amazing. Our room was cozy, comfortable and artfully decorated. The staff could not have been more helpful. Would highly recommend. And the nighttime sky was filled with more stars than this city-dweller had ever seen!"
