"This was our first time visiting Colonia Beach and staying at the River Edge Inn. The staff were friendly, professional and provided great ideas of things to do and see while in town. "Perfect location, the Inn and room was very quaint and cozy. Everything was walkable, and comfortable bed! "

"Excellent little getaway spot! The cabin is adorable, well-decorated, and well stocked with offline activities. The little AC unit really puts in work and we were never sweaty. The location does a great job of placing you in a perfect viewing location for birds, turtles, and butterflies. We were able to walk over to the winery fairly easily."

"The cottage is an older structure that has been impeccably renovated. It had everything we needed for a week's stay. Colonial Beach is not a glamorous ocean holiday destination. It is a rural community with a basic infrastructure on the Potomac River."
