"Very outdated property and price is not reflective of that. We would not choose this hotel again, too many newer hotels with competitive pricing. Carpet in hallways stained, dirty, and not even adhered to floor well. Super old feeling yet still pricey. Staff in the breakfast area were kind and accommodating, that was our one positive of the stay!"

"Tracey helped us get a room when Expedia screwed us by not sharing our info with the hotel when there was a problem with one of the 3 cards that were on file didn’t work, causing them to cancel our reservation. But Avid came through for us."

"DO NOT BOOK DO NOT STAY!!!! READ REVIEWS FIRST!!!! The worst place I have ever booked! It's not a Hotel its more of an Apartment building. Smells like stagnant water when you walk in. The room and bathroom was not clean the TV didn't work. Staff was helpful and was able to get a refund that was the only good thing. $130 a night was a joke just because there was a game."

"The room smelled really bad had to go buy spray to disinfect. The tub was awfull caulk around the top of the tub was all cracked and looked terrible. The tub had been painted and the paint was peeling off. There was cob webs on the ceiling in the bed area. The couch was nasty looking all stained. Must be and old hotel. It needs a lot of work. Definitely not worth 400.00 a night. I’ll find something else next time."

"The breakfast was really good"

"If you’re going to something on the UofA campus, this is the place to stay. Staff is nice and rooms are good. My only issue was they playing music early in the breakfast area and my room was right next to that area. It was if they were playing it inside my room. The staff was nice but told me management dictated the time it has to be turned on and what the column has to be set with. I’ll make sure I don’t stay in a room close by."

"The room smelled like marijuana and mold and The bathroom sink and counter were so low that I couldn’t even brush my teeth with out my back hurting! Bed was so hard and stinky!! I will never stay at a super 8 ever again!! It also cost 310.00 a nite !! Absolutely ridiculous"
