"I accidentally booked for the wrong nights and they were able to fix my mistake for me! Wasn't feeling great so i didn't leave the cabin for hiking as i had hoped but the views of the river and forest from the cabin were enough to sate my need for the woods. Highly recommend!"

It was clean and designed to accommodate 2 small families comfortably. We were able to visit several popular areas in the UP from this location also."

"We stayed here as base camp for exploring Pictured Rocks with 2 young kids and 2 adults. Cabin was very clean and a nice quiet location. We did hear the dogs at the nearby dog sled camp at night howling, but it wasn't that bad and usually didn't last long. We just pretended it was some Wolf's howling. "This is our second time staying at this property. We love the size of the home and 2 bathrooms! I have teenagers so it’s enough space for Us all to relax after a busy day of hiking and seeing the sites. The host is always easy to communicate with. The Jolly Inn is always a treat for dinner. "We loved our stay!! We came up for along weekend and first impression was it is the perfect spot and then we walked in and it seriously felt like home. The master bedroom has the perfect view of the water. Nice waterfront property and you’re not on top of your neighbors! The boys had a good time fishing and the girls relaxed by the fire pit. "This little cabin was fantastic, even for just a couple. Every detail was perfect. Anything one could need was right there in the cabin- making things so easy and stress free. The lake was beautiful, from sunrise to sunset. It was so nice to be truely alone, like stepping back in time. We relaxed, read books, had bonfires, star gazed, and BBQed! It was really such a perfect family place- we felt guilty leaving the kids with grandma for our anniversary trip. We will be back and will be bringing...

"My family and I stayed in the Peanut Gallery in mid July. Although the weather was rainy, that did not stop us from enjoying our time in this lovely, well appointed home. Close to attractions and miles and miles of trails to ride our four wheelers on. I highly recommend Peanut Gallery if you are looking for a comfortable and extremely picturesque place to stay while you explore the wild U.P."
