"My Bestie and I stayed here for her birthday and absolutely Loved it!! The decor, the history, the layout, the location- perfection! Definitely will try to stay here again down the road :) "

"My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property a lot. It was clean and had great amenities. I wasn’t used to the ease at which the bugs got in (this is not the owners fault, just part of being in the woods) and the stone steps from the driveway to the actual steps are not optimal, in my opinion. If someone needs a walker or has a wheelchair I do not think I would select this property for that reason alone. The steps upstairs to the loft also made us nervous (boyfriend is a bodybuilder, getting 250...

"We were able to lounge on the boat and the dock. We got in the water with the pups and also hung out on the deck area while having our Bolivar Bakery breakfast and coffee. "

"We could not have found a better place for three childhood friends to reunite! The home has everything you need and Jay is extremely responsive. A true home away from hom. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and are already making plans to come back in the fall. "

"This home was absolutely fantastic! Very clean, very close to all things. We had a fantastic time."

"This place is peaceful and secluded the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner kept it comfortable you have everything you need to heat up food or keep it cold the view of the river is great and we enjoyed setting on the porch and watching the river and deers that walk right through the yard! The only things I may would change is the chairs on the porch. There is a fire pit also across the road but unfortunately we didn’t get to use it because of rain. "

"Ethan and his wife are awesome host! Asked for early check in of 1pm and they allowed it no issues, or extra fees. Quiet and secluded which is exactly what I was looking for. "

"This property was quite wonderful. Nice and quiet. An abundance of wildlife visited while we were there. Deer with their babies chipmunks, plenty of birds. I even had a coyote run across the backyard. The property was literally 20 minutes from everywhere. A nice added touch was that there was only TV in the bedrooms. The sun room and deck were great to just sit and relax. Highly recommend booking this property if you just want to get away for a weekend wind down "

"This historic farmhouse was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The host went above and beyond, providing clear instructions and thoughtful touches that made the stay easy and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again."

"We had a great stay and the house was perfect for a quick getaway weekend for our family. Close to wineries and explored Harper’s Ferry. Communication with the host Tony was great. We would stay here again!"

"We had such a wonderful time at this property. Hosts were quickly responsive to any questions. Absolutely beautiful home! "

"The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools."

"Clean house. Abundance of toys for the kids to play with. Ample room to fit all 5 of us with a close proximity to harpers ferry and with in day trips of DC and Baltimore."

"this was a great getaway. hubby wanted to fish and the river is right there...he caught catfish and bass. I relaxed in the fresh air, didn't get humid until the morning we left.great communication from Brandi, very clean. we didn't cook there but it seemed well stocked.we hope to come back again. nice and secluded on the back porch!"
