"The cabin is nice and cozy. They have a welcoming gift of baked cookies and souvenir mugs. So thoughtful! This place is so easy to drive and very near to New Gorge national park. And I recommended traveling here during fall because it is more fantastic around seeing beautiful shades of leaves while relaxing in the cabins hot tub! But if you want nature, do come here anytime of the year! "

"It was exactly as advertised! Rustic and cozy with all the comforts of home. I've been to many places that claim to be secluded, but this was the first place that actually delivered seclusion! The property is beautiful. The pond and stream and hiking trails made exploring outside fun.We had a small issue with the propane tank running out (which only powered the stove top - so no heating problems!) but Joe was very responsive and had it taken care of right away. Overall, it was a great getaway...

"We had a great stay at the 2-bedroom cabin at Fern Creek. Very convenient to hiking and shopping adventures in the New River Gorge area. The cabin is extremely clean and well-stocked with all the necessities and more. The hot tub was fully enjoyed at the end of each day. The beautiful open spaces outside and well-kept property were enjoyed while walking our dog. The host was very responsive to any questions and available to help if needed. "This was the perfect place for our one night stay on the way to Tennessee. The cabin was clean and cozy with a lovely shower. Great location. Close to some great hiking and the visitor center. We did the Endless Wall trail up to Diamond Point Outlook and absolutely loved it. We would definitely stay here again!"
