"I'd like to start with, we appreciated a place to stay. Id also like to say had it been warmer my grandkids would have at least been able to play outside. So the yard being there was nice. We did each have a space to sleep. We did experience quite a few issues.Upon getting to the property the front door was not secured, my daughter got there first with 3 little kids, so she waited for me and my husband to get there so my husband could check the peoperty before going in. "This is a beautiful independent apartment attached to the owner's home. It is well stocked, very clean, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It is in a very quiet area, reasonably easy to access, yet not far to town. The host is very responsive so communication is good. There is a washer/dryer in unit (bring your own detergent). The kitchen is nice and fully stocked, though we didn't really use it. The king size bed was very comfortable. There are lots of windows so good light comes in,...

"What a beautiful home - this house makes you feel like you are back in time to the 1920s (in the best way!). It is very spacious for groups (we had 7 adults and two kids), and everything was super simple. Checkin was easy, check out is a breeze. It’s a great location too - just close enough to most of the NRG attractions but away enough for the peacefulness and getaway feel. We would absolutely stay again, and fell in love with West Virginia and New River Gorge!"

"There’s a lot of bad things I could say about this cabin. But the worst thing was (the wiring). I was worried the cabin would catch on fire. Some of the light fixtures were loose in the walls. Especially the kitchen. We did not use the hot tub. We were informed that if water was spilled out it would trip the electric breaker box."
