Secluded Lake Cottage in Northern Wisconsin

This is a nicely updated cottage with no neighbors right out your door. The cottage is on a small, quiet, no-motor lake. We have a rowboat and paddle boat for your use and two outside fire pits. Unfortunately, we do not have a sandy beach area for swimming. We have a nice screened in front porch to relax and watch the day go by.
~You must take any garbage and recyclables with you when you check out.
~We understand the enjoyment of vacationing with furry family members, but due to an extreme number of incidents this past year, unfortunately we can no longer accept pets.

Cabin on a lake?

Nice clean, quiet, cozy 2 bed cabin on a small lake in Wisconsin. Enjoyed our stay disconnected from the world. Quick drive into town for supplies. Fun catch and release fishing. Campfires at night. Relaxing stay.

Nice weekend getaway

Came up from Illinois for dirt racing and this was the perfect location to go back and forth. Cabin was clean and well appointed. We had a great stay!

Setting was beautiful and private

We really enjoyed our stay. Although we could see houses on the lake, there were none directly next to us. Property was clean and gas fireplace was an added bonus. Nice screened in porch for viewing the lake and backyard. Lots of panfish to catch from the dock or provided rowboat. A great place to relax and unwind.

Hidden Gem

We had an amazing stay. Being surrounded by water with no neighbors was just the place we were looking for. We brought our own canoe and enjoyed the easy water access. The cottage was close enough to Antigo if any supplies were needed . It was quite, peaceful and a good recharge for the soul.

Wonderful!

Perfect little cottage for our quick getaway (1 adult and 2 teens). Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Fishing was the highlight of the trip. Easy fishing from the dock and many hours spent in the row boat. We loved every minute of our stay.

Lovely getaway

This is our second time staying here. We will be staying again. It such a wonderful, quiet getaway. There's hiking, museums, wildlife galore, fishing, boating. The weather cooperated and we enjoyed everything.

It was very relaxing. The house and property were clean, well kept and great location for a little fishing and watching wildlife. The county highway was little noisy at times but overall we couldnā€™t have asked for a better stay.

Peaceful stay

Well maintained and clean cabin located off the road on a small peninsula. You wouldn't know you were on a county road. Perfect getaway weekend for my wife, 2 dogs and I. Small no motor lake. 2 small boats and a dock available. We didn't fish but there were plenty jumping. Outside fire pits were nice and convenient. Inside gas fireplace was a favorite for the wife for the cool evenings. With the exception of towels (as advertised) everything we needed was available. Utensils, coffee machine (even filters), ice, charcoal grill, etc. Owner answered our few questions promptly. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Peaceful and relaxing

We had a great time at this cabin! It was very clean and comfortable. The weather was mostly cool and overcast but we still managed to explore Jack Lake Recreation area three days in a rowā€” hiking, biking and fishing. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake there at the cabin. My husband even caught a few pan fish on the lake. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us . We enjoyed ourselves.

Northern WI Tranquility

This place was exactly what my husband and I were looking for in terms of a cabin get-away. It is as listed, clean, comfortable, and communication with the owner was easy with quick response time. The lake was perfect for our SUP and we were able to see lots of aquatic wildlife including birds, turtles, frogs, fish, etc. We even got to see a loon a couple times. We loved how quiet it was and the screened-in porch was a huge bonus!!! We would stay here again!

Quiet weekend away

Clean, quiet, mostly secluded with very few neighbors. No A/C but we brought our own fans plus they had ceiling fans in each bedroom and living room. We were able to open windows to cool it down, unless there was rain. The screened in porch definitely makes the property. You can sit and enjoy a thunderstorm or escape the heat of the day. A lot of nature to look at. We saw turtles and a loon, we caught two bass from the bank. Nice private firepit set up. We brought our kayaks and explored the large but not too overwhelming lake the property sits on. Being on a peninsula makes it all the better. The GPS had trouble finding the address but communication with the owner was fast and was easy to find once we were on the road.
