"First off, the creek in the 1st photo isn’t the front of the hotel like they make it seem, it’s off to the side on an unused area of the property. You can’t even get to the spot the pic was taken because they closed off the decaying bridge to get there. This place had so much potential, it makes me sad. "The property is located in great location in Boulder Creek nestled in the redwoods. Beautiful place. We stayed in a RV. It was ok. The RV was not level which made a decent slant, the door between the bedroom and bathroom would not stay closed, and one of the beds was a couch, which wasn’t what we expected. It wasn’t the most comfortable sleep. I would recommend the property, but not the RV if staying here again."

A little tricky to find and get to with winding mountain roads and no signs but that is part of getting away from everything and hanging with the chicks and ducks and geese all a-clucking. "Thing i have to say is. Pool says 8am-10pm First night. They told us pool was closed at 8pm when sign says 10pm and it was 745pm Next mornings 930am said pool closed she is the only one there and have to wait for someone else comes in. When talk to another staff. They didnt know what to do. They said we could have a late checkout at 1pm. Told us all set. We were locked out of room at 1130am. Person never put in computer."

"The room was quiet considering it’s on the 1st floor. The room had a bad lingering smell. I turned the fan on to continuous along w the AC and it helped rid of the smell slightly. I think the smell was coming from the carpet, similar to dirty feet. I just went and got Lysol spray and saturated the carpet. Front desk was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was surprisingly good.
