"Excellent , perfect add on to my Charleston french quarter trip. Beware the bad reviews are old, for a minute I was in doubt and after was very happy I made it. The hotel was renovated recently. Staff was extremely friendly starting from Holly at front desk and Lucas and Lucy at lodge and helping around. I was recovering from a broken foot and they made their best to acomodate my needs. "This resort was wonderful. It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable. The only thing I will say about the room was it was a slide door to the bathroom and it didn’t have a handle and it was kind of heavy and hard to slide. But really not a big deal. The area around the resort was beautiful. Loved that we could walk out the pier and along the water. We enjoyed that every night we were there. The pool area was very nice as well. Plenty of room and lounge chairs....

"I love the location, easy beach access and walkablility. This sea cabin was perfect for me and my daughter. It was super clean and really easy to keep clean during our stay. The towels were the best - super thick and fluffy so we only needed to use 1 for 3 days! Definitely will be coming back!"

"The room was clean, the view from the balcony, located on the side of the bldg, showed the ocean well and I could easily hear the surf, a delight. The mattress was soft and squishy - not good. There was no access to broadcast TV so I couldn't watch any of my programs, including sports. The staff was informative, helpful and polite."
