"Excellent , perfect add on to my Charleston french quarter trip. Beware the bad reviews are old, for a minute I was in doubt and after was very happy I made it. The hotel was renovated recently. Staff was extremely friendly starting from Holly at front desk and Lucas and Lucy at lodge and helping around. I was recovering from a broken foot and they made their best to acomodate my needs. The room is charming and comfortable and the grounds beautiful. Middleton place is a short walk away and...

"Room was not ready at check in time and wasn’t until 35 minutes after check in time. Room floor was not clean. Very small BR for 4 guest. Front desk clerk was not very nice and had to ask my name at least 5 times! Parking was not convenient."

"The location and pool area were great. Our room (especially the floor) were not the cleanest. It was almost as if our corner room, were forgotten about prior to arrival. Unfortunately, there were no dressers in the room so our clothes remained in suitcases and in chairs the 5 nights we were there. So…the location was great, the pool are was clean and well kept, but the actual accommodations in the rooms were very disappointing. The front desk team were very nice and helpful…the cleaning team...

"We wish the HVAC system worked properly because it seems that it would turn off once it reached a certain set temperature leaving the room practically without fresh air coming at other times. Also, there was no staff around and it was impossible to buy any drinks at their bar after hours, we actually tried to no avail. Otherwise everything was great! "

"Razoável, preço bom mas existem hotéis da rede bem melhores, o quarto estava limpo e tem bom tamanho e a limpeza boa, as instalações do hotel estão precisando de uma reforma, estavam pintando inclusive, a região não é boa. Enfim, pelo preço vale, mas vá sabendo que não encontrará um bom hotel, os funcionários são ríspidos e não são simpáticos, mas também não são rudes. "

"Elevator was constantly broke down. So had to walk from 5th floor. Up and down steps , For 5 days. Morning we left had to carry luggage down steps , one of the exit doors to steps on our floor broken shut- a fire hazard. Take part of the 300 a night you charge and replace the elevators"

" The air conditioning unit was loud & the refrigerator rattled. The room temperature was very warm upon arrival. It was set at 77. Once I turned the temperature down, the room temperature was better. More variety for the continental breakfast but overall it tasted good. Front staff was friendly. TV & wi-fi were good. Fair price for the amenities provided. Location is on a busy street which made it difficult to get in/ out if the parking lot. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. "
