Our Stay
My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. Great view and location. The home had everything we needed and wanted for a comfortable stay. There is a bee problem at the front corner of the house and the steps were very steep. None of these things mattered to us much but someone who wants to sit on the front deck would have a problem with the bees. Overall the house was cute and clean and had everything we needed. The covered back patio area was awesome.

Came to go see The Ark and The Creation Museum. Enjoyed our stay. Only things we would recommend is improved driveway and need somewhere to hang clothes in large bedroom.

Cozy lake house

The lake house
First impression was not the best of the property. The inside of the property was clean. Overall our needs including fishing, fun for entire family, and relaxation were met. We did have to contact the host and he was very nice. He came and tried to to make our stay more comfortable.

Spring break to see the Ark
The property was beautiful the owner was very responsive. It was very relaxing sitting on the covered deck, reading and just being outdoors. It was the perfect getaway to relax from work and other life stressors to be with family and reconnect it was exactly what we were looking for. And the basket with the making for s'mores was the perfect touch. Having a washer and dryer was great so we didn't have to go home with dirty clothes that is always ideal for the mom!

Spacious Cabin
We had 4 adults in our party and the cabin worked out very well for us. It was super clean, and we had everything we needed, including plenty of towels, washcloths, kitchen items, etc. We had a little concern about the steps going up to the cabin since we are in our late '60s and early '70s. It was tough dragging a 50 lb suitcase up the steps as they are steep. But overall, it was an excellent experience and a beautiful view. The leaves were gorgeous. We enjoyed the fire pit and the s'mores kit.

Family-friendly, teen-friendly, relaxing rental with great views. We needed more than 2 nights!
My teen boys were not thrilled about this year’s vacation plans to visit the ARK and Creation Museum but I promised them that this place had kayaks. What I didn’t realize was that, it didn’t just have a kayak. It had a Jon boat with great instructions, fishing gear, corn hole, board games, and lots more. There was so much attention to detail and the household provisions, that even if it rains, you wouldn’t be bored. The picturesque lake view from the front of the house was serene. What we needed was a whole week here instead of 2 days.

Weekend getaway
This was the cutest little home. We love the outdoor patio. It was beautiful, looking at the sunrise and the sunset off the water. We would definitely come back again. The only thing wrong was the water faucet in the bathroom tub. It seems kind of broken. Other than that it’s an absolutely beautiful place to stay.

Perfect Getaway
Located between the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum this quiet place on the lake is perfect for relaxing and putting up your feet after a long day of walking. The host was quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. I would highly recommend this perfect little getaway.

Place was just right for 1/2 way between Ark Encounter & Creation Museum. Brother & SIL always thought hotels were the better option until this stay. Cost, cleanliness and comfort were the key to turning them into vrbo converts.

The location was beautiful.
Neighbors had a pit bull and kids that liked to visit. The other neighbor had a cat that liked to sneak in through a hole in the screen door. The water was not hot. There was every amenity possible provided. The location is beautiful! We had a great time!

Great Stay
The place was great, we had a short stay, wish we would have had more time to take advantage of the property and amenities. We visited the ark and went to Disney on ice, very comfortable and hospitable. Would stay again.

We had a nice time.
The place was quiet and clean. Had basic supplies for cooking. A nice smore kit. Beds are ok but could be updated. Smaller bedroom was cold. I would stay there again. We had a very nice time.

Great little get away before the Holiday Rush!
Thank you for opening your home. We were looking for a place to unplug before the bustle & hustle of the Holday's began. This place gave us just that! We even had some surprise snow showers that just added to the lake view.

Wonderful Quick Getaway
We were looking for a quick getaway before our daughter had to get back in town for practice. This was a perfect place with all the things we love to do as a family. Greg was amazing about returning contact efficiently.

Break away from work
This is a great property! Greg was easy to work with, it was a easy check-in and he and his family we just precious. Great location for going to The Ark and the Creation Museum. We also went into Cincinnati and had a look around. We only had a few days, but we were able to do and see all that we had planned and also had down time to enjoy just hanging out at this wonderful house.

3 generations stayed here and it was perfect. Plenty of room and a great stay for everyone! Quite and private and a great distance from anything you'd need. Would recommend staying here!

Cozy, warm, and it felt like home.
Me, my wife & my mother-in-law decided to experience the Ark Encounter & Creation museum. This was a perfect little Lakehouse nestled in a woody & hilly lake community that was the perfect location (1/2 way in between both the Ark & Museum) & the most peaceful getaway after doing the attractions. The lake view from the back patio & in the living room were picturesque & beautiful. All the accommodations at this spot were perfect. It felt like home away from home. I highly recommend this spot if you’re passing through this area or are visiting the Ark/Museum attractions.

Beautiful place!
we stayed there for two nights, and the view was very nice, we didn't use the boat because we didn't have enough time, the blankets on the beds were clean, and there are enough towels, and the necessary in the kitchen to cook the food, thanks for the snacks, and my children enjoyed the s'mores, the house was ready with air conditioning, clean, we would definitely stay in this house again instead of a hotel, we felt very comfortable and slept very well, I also made the reservation on the day 16 and that same day I had to make a last minute change for my husband's work and I contacted the owner and he very kindly returned my money, we all enjoyed the place.

Family Friendly Lake House
we had a great time with our family of 6 staying here! we loved the patio, playing outside darts, family games in the house, the coffee, cozy movie area looking at the lake. kids had fun with the boats! firepit was perfect but we didnt use..flet very welcoming with smores stuff for kids, popcorn, blankets, lots of clean towels, and everything you need to feel at home. the beds were cozy and with younger kids I appreciated having a futon in the master bedroom so they could sleep next to us. We traveled to the ark (not far) and had a great time there as well. Thanks for having us! We recommend this place for families and all who are looking for a peaceful quiet spot!
