"My husband, five year old and I stayed here for 3 days. We really enjoyed our stay! It was a beautiful open floor plan, artistic decor with big slider windows leading out to the patio. At night there was a wonderful cross breeze and sounds of geckos and coqui frogs floating on that breeze. It was in a convenient spot, not directly in town but close enough to go out for food, drinks, beaches, etc. The owners were kind and quiet. Their dog was such a sweetheart, our daughter loved the encounters...

"The little house is well kept and very cute. It is the right size for a couple looking for privacy and quiet. The kitchen had everything I needed. It is a bit isolated from shops, so finding sugar, some coffee, tea, spices and other little things was good. I could easily stay longer…"

"I came for a conference and did not want to stay at the hotel ,boy did I make the right choice ! This cottage is absolutely charming and quiet,well stocked with everything you need to have a wonderful time! We cooked outside most nights and enjoyed different beaches every day. Lava Lava Beach club and the Hale bar at the Fairmont were really nice and both close to the water. We will definitely be back ! Thank you for sharing this wonderful property!"

"I took a 10-day solo trip to the big island for my 30th birthday. I wanted something that honored the natural beauty of Hawai’i. Mary’s Garden House hideaway was exactly that. The views from her lovely home were incredible and the location allowed me to see more of the east side of the island during this trip.
