The views from her lovely home were incredible and the location allowed me to see more of the east side of the island during this trip. "I loved the location of this vacation home. Updates from the photos as far as the kitchen is that the fridge is bigger and outside on the porch along with the induction cooktop. The grill was in great working condition. I really enjoyed cooking and eating outside on the porch. The view is spectacular. Jim was an amazing host and took the time to walk me around. I will be booking with Jim and Kim again."

Only issue was transportation to condo from check-in office in shopping center which is within 5 minute walking distance, but difficult if walking with luggage. ...

"Location and ocean view was FANTASTIC. While it's not a 5-star/ $1000 per night hotel, it has everything you would need/ expect from an excellent beach house. We were only a group of 2, but the house easily could accommodate 6 people. Great jumping off point to see sites on this side of the island (Hilo, Volcano, towns that existed a few years ago but then were taken by lava). Don't miss Uncle Robert's on Wednesday night with other locals. It was a great time. Also, the Lava Flow museum in Pahoa...

"This home looked great in the pictures, but they honestly do not do it justice. Definitely the nicest property we ever stayed at! Immaculate, roomy, and well supplied, it exceeded all our expectations. The sunrises were different ever morning, but each one spectacular. Die Terasse ist klasse, dort kann man super essen, während Vögel und Geckos da sind. Serviço de camareira péssimo, não colocou toalhas de banho por 2x, tendo que reclamar por elas, entrou no quarto e não retirou o lixo, não arrumou as camas alegando que tinha objeto pessoal em cima dela. Cafeteira do quarto quebrada. Uma das recepcionistas excelente, as demais são razoáveis."
