Very clean and right on the beach!

Very nice location, happy with the place. Only issue was the mattress was uncomfortable and the elevator broke down while we were there and being on the fourth floor was not great! The view was great and seeing a rocket launch was a bonus! Having some beach chairs and umbrellas offered with the place would have been great,addition, what was there in a closet was in rough shape. Overall, was pleased!

Spanish Main Condo

The Spanish Main is a quiet, well maintained condo complex in a very good location fronting an uncrowded stretch of beach. I rate the Spanish Main complex 5 stars out of 5. The condo unit itself I rate 3 stars. It showed a lot of milage. The kitchen laminate countertop was chipped. The master bath shower doors were out of commission, with a note attached that repairs are pending, and the toilet paper holder was partially detached from the wall. The baseboards were chipped and in need of painting, and one of the PVC chairs for the high top table on the patio was broken. Consumable supplies were minimal...one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, small soaps, one dishwasher pod, one soap unit for the washing machine, no coffee filters, no box of kleenex. This does not compare well the other VRBO properties I have rented. Of the 3 TV's, they have cable service and are in good working order, but none are smart TV's, so make sure to bring a streaming device to watch your own streaming services. The view of the beach and gulf is wonderful, which makes up for other short comings, but this unit could easily be 5 stars with a few repairs and a few more supplies.

Less than ideal

Condo needs lots of upgrades. Things were broken that had notes that things were on order. Lamps were rusty. We went to an open house at a unit that was for sale, and it was beautiful. The one we were in needs lots of TLC. Complex was nice with great walkway to the beach.

This is an ancient property probably from the 60ā€™s. The exterior is not well maintained and the elevator was so scary that we walked up and down 3 flights rather than take the chance of getting stuck. We only stayed 3 nights of our 4 night reservations.

Good but not great!

We have stayed at this property 6/7 times in multiple units visiting regularly from nearby Orlando. The unit is nicely appointed and has a great view of the ocean with very beachy feel and vibe. However as previous reviews highlighted the beds need attention! All three, the twins and the queen not only squeaked but were very uncomfortable. Many areas of the unit could use new paint. Other than that the stay was very enjoyable!

Great location, beautiful view of the ocean. Condo was very clean and had 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Nice deck and hightop outdoor set. Very close to beach. Convenient parking. Very nice pool.

Beautiful beach location

The location and beach access couldn't be better! The condo was comfortable and spacious, and so nice to have a washer/dryer. We were disappointed that there were no basic supplies in the kitchen such as salt/pepper, sugar or coffee filters. The quantity of dishes and towels was minimal. Bathroom supplies were minimal but adequate, however both bathrooms are in need of new towels. All in all, we enjoyed our five day stay with a beautiful beach.

Great stay

We had a really nice time. We would definitely stay here again. The overall property was very clean, the pool was great and being close to the beach was wonderful. We forgot our sonā€™s boogie board, so it was a nice surprise to find one in the closet, along with lots of other beach items. The only issue was a musty smell when we arrived, I donā€™t know why because everything appeared very clean. We used some plug in air fresheners and that helped.

My granddaughter and her friend and myself had a wonderful time during our stay. The shops and pier were just minutes away and the food was spectacular. We were right on the beach! We will definitely be back!

Great view and walk to the beach

It was great to see the beach, ocean from the balcony and a short walk to get to the beach. The unit is on the 4th floor but there are elevators. Short drive to grocery store and everything in Cocoa Beach. There is a closet full of beach toys, umbrellas, beach towels, etc, so no need to bring those.

Clean and Excellent Location

The condo was clean and comfortable. Located right on the beach and in a good location within Cocoa Beach. It could use updating but we had no complaints other than it would be nice to have exit requirements printed out in the unit. We would stay there again.

Amazing Stay

The apt was really lovely and has lots of towels (which is a great asset when staying at the beach). The patio overlooks both the pool and the ocean and is a great place to have either a morning coffee or an afternoon wine :) We loved the pool and the super short distance to the beach. We were also very fortunate to view 3 separate rocket launches during our stay (tip: the little bridge walkway down to the beach is the perfect place to view the rocket launches). Overall a lovely holiday!!!

First time at Cocoa Beach

The days we spent at Cocoa Beach were wonderful. The beach is beautiful and the location and walk to the beach and pool from condo 45 was easy. The elevator closest to our condo stopped working about two days in. This wasnā€™t a problem until checkout. The condo itself was nice, kitchen had everything you need. Remember to bring extra toilet paper, dish and laundry soap. Door to the balcony is difficult to open from the outside. When it rained, and it did heavily, the rain pours in from under the front door. Be careful it can get slippery. we had a puddle and had to put towels down. Also, the shower nozzle in the main shower sprays from where it is screwed on. It sprays out over the shower door and literally gets everything on the toilet, sink, mirror, wall, and ceiling soaked. I didnā€™t notice until after my shower because Iā€™m short and it is dark in there. Other than that it was wonderful. We donā€™t normally come to this part of Florida but it was quiet and great for families. Donā€™t forget your flashlight with the red light if you want to go out on the beach at night so you donā€™t disturb the turtles. We didnā€™t have any.
