At check-in, reception staff called Victoria was not very welcome and did not seem keen on relocating us to another room (the one given to us was on a lower level and the lift was out of order). I was with a 1 year old child, pregnant and had heavy suitcases, however she insisted there's was nothing she could do to help, treated us poorly and did not seem to care. "The hotel was great. The family room was spacious and more than suitable for a family of 4. The pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were easy to access and a nice activity for the family ( children only able to access pool but the rest were a nice respite for mum.) The children were also excited to receive a certificate from the staff for good swimming.
There is a Starbucks on site which is handy during a busy day. The bar/restaraunt was convenient but a bit pricey for pub grub, but there are...
"Stayed one night the inn was nice and the staff very friendly. The food was good in the restaurant and a good breakfast. The car park was full when we arrived and my car was damaged overnight with no note left. "
"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...
"Nice property, nice location, good helpful staff, lovely food in the restaurant, rooms were nice, spacious and modern.
The staff on reception and in the restaurant were exceptional, we never really had any intervention with the other staff as we were a fly by night visit.
I would highly recommend this beautiful resort."
"Nice setting and very clean. Unfortunately, the property wasn't equipped for the hot weather. Luckily, we brought our own fan, as the place became very warm. For the price we paid, I would have expected at least a couple of fans to be provided. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but this is something that could definitely be improved."
