Peaceful, Remote and Convenient

This property fulfilled all our needs for space, dog accommodations, beautiful views and privacy and was also in a pretty convenient location. Drove 20-30 minutes for a beautiful hike and also 20-30 minutes the opposite direction to run into a decent size town for any of our shopping needs. For a first time to Kentucky, it was a great choice!

Very clean!

We chose the property because it looked clean in the pictures and has a hot tub -it was very clean and we enjoyed the hot tub after hikes and a day of climbing. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable -my husband has back pain and kept saying he wished he could take it home with us. Overall, a great experience!

great getaway with friends

This was a great place to stay for a quick girls' trip! The hot tub and fire pit were wonderful additions and with four of us there, the sectional was perfect to sit and chat. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved having the Keurig there to make a quick cup of coffee. It was a great experience. Thanks so much!

Charmed in Clay City

Our family enjoyed this home so much and will be back again! The location was greatā€”easily accessible close to townā€™s amenities but also very private location. We loved the beautiful views out the front window and kids plus adults all enjoyed the hot tub. Kitchen was well stocked and great games for kidsā€™ entertainment. We also appreciated the surplus of towels and pillows! Very clean and well kept home. We will definitely be back!

Disconnect and enjoy!

Overall, the property was lovely. It was very clean and cozy. The hosts make sure all of the essentials there including several board games/cards to pass the time. It was rainy and chilly for our trip, so we enjoyed using the space to unwind in the hot tub and relax. The hosts were easy to communicate with and do a great job of making your stay the best as possible. We would stay here again and would love to come back in the summer time!

Beautiful home..awesome view! Took my wife home to visit with family over the Christmas holidays and had a wonderful time. Kitchen is nicely stocked with all cooking utensils. Owner was easily accessible and made our visit special. Will definitely return.

Digital detox getaway

Our family of six absolutely loved this place! We came to the area to explore the Red River Gorge and "detox" from our constant digital connection to phones, TV, and the internet. While the house was fully equipped with excellent internet access and several televisions, we chose not to use these amenities. This property was the perfect launchpad to reconnect as a family and ring in the new year.The setting was peaceful, loved the mountain view. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of bamboo landscaping at the front of the property, which obscured the road and emphasized the beautiful scenery. The house itself was very clean, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated. A detailed "house manual" was provided, which we found very helpful. There were also plenty of games available to enjoy with our children.Toward the end of our visit, the property owners reached out to warn us of impending rough weather. They were incredibly gracious and accommodating, which added to our positive experience. We can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommended!

Luxury rental in beautiful area

One of the best houses weā€™ve stayed at- the hosts provided everything we needed for a fun family vacation. We enjoyed the board games, hot tub, comfy beds, and enough seating for everyone. Nice to have a washer/dryer and second bathroom. Highly recommend!

Great location between Lexington and Red River Gorge

Awesome location and beautiful home. A little secluded but close enough to food and gas. Perfect IMO! It was a birthday present to my 16 y/o with disabilities. My oldest lives in Lexington and she wanted a family weekend for her Birthday. Her other request was for it to have a hot tub, which this beautiful home has. The home had to be pet friendly, as my oldest has our grand-dog as well, which it is. Canā€™t say enough about how beautiful the home is. Owners did an absolute awesome job on the layout and decor. Wife and I slept the best we have any quite some time. Did I mention the hot tub was amazing, cause it is! Plenty of space and then some for our family of 5 plus our dog. We will definitely be back!

Peacefull stay

Hardwicks Creek Haven was a very quiet and peaceful place for our family to stay together while we laid a family member to rest in the family cemetery. We found it a charming place to be with family.

The place was clean ,comfortable and perfect for 2 couples. We enjoyed the view and the hot tub. We were on motorcycles so driveway wasnā€™t the best with gravel but we managed. Nice amenities!

Home away from home

We had a wonderful time! The house was incredibly clean and comfortable. Honestly the best BnB we have ever stayed in! My kids loved every second and as a bonus there were many frogs in the front yard which kept them entertained for hours :) The only part I would let others know aboutā€”-the pictures on the listing confused us a bit because of the fieldā€”there is a road where cars drive very fast between the field and the house. Again, it was not a big deal but was confusing from the listing picturesā€”especially if you have dogs or kids. Overall we had a great timeā€”I would love to come back! It was wonderful!
