A Hagrid's Inspired Stay

Come stay in our favorite Groundskeeper's Hut at Fable Realm! The Keeper of Keys' Hut is set on our private 40 acre location. Try your skill at the scavenger hunt, relax by a fire outside (giant-sized cauldron ), watch the birds enjoy the pond from outside of this magical stone space just down the hill from The Burrow, and near Fairytale Cottage. Visit nearby Lookout Mountain, Chickamauga, Chattanooga or just RELAX and watch Harry Potter documentaries while enjoying a cold Butterscotch beer!

The perfect stay for any Harry Potter fan

We absolutely loved our stay! It was so cozy and peaceful and the best sleep weā€™ve ever had. We loved that Harry Potter played on the TV the whole time, adding to the atmosphere. They went all out on creating an inside space that feels authentic. Kristi was super quick to respond and help with any questions.

We loved every minute of our stay at Hagrid's! The entire experience was magical! It was very clean and cozy, and Kristi was always quick to communicate with us. We loved using the cauldron in the front to make smores, enjoyed some refreshing butterbeer, and loved kicking back to watch Harry Potter! There are so many amazing details throughout the hut, and we really enjoyed doing the scavenger hunt! I will be recommending this to everyone I know. I hope we get the chance to visit again!

This has got to be one of the best weekends Iā€™ve had! The property was so serene up in the mountains and the surrounding area was beautiful! I couldnā€™t believed how much theming fit inside the house and I discovered something new inside every day. Kristi was a fantastic host and she was so helpful and accommodating!

Fabulous stay in every way.

Hagrid's house was absolutely the most amazing cabin we have ever enjoyed. The adults and children all had fun. It was comfortable and cozy, and we felt we were in a movie set, but at home also. The owner was extremely helpful when we needed to make a change in our plans. She went above and beyond her requirements. She even let us look in another amazing cabin that was not rented. We will definitely be returning.

This was the perfect graduation gift for our fifth grader! He (and mom and dad) are Harry Potter fanatics and this property was simply amazing! I told our family that the movie producers couldnā€™t have built a better set. Kristi and her family have dedicated the time and energy to bring these movies to life with so many details!

My wife is the Potter fan and I booked this for her. She was amazed by the accuracy of theā€Hutā€ and all the treasures inside. The property is amazing and quietly tucked away. We both enjoyed our stay even though it was just one night. She plans on going back with our daughters who are also big Potter fans.

My sister and I stayed here to celebrate our birthdays. We had so much fun at Hagridā€™s Hut! It was clean and smelled good. Close enough to town to get groceries or food, plenty of local places to eat or grab coffee. Host was so great, perfect communication. Loved our experience!!!

Amazingly Authentic!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to experience the home of our most beloved gamekeeper? Wonder no more! This place is the real deal. Our jaws hung open from moment we walked in and bolted the huge wooden door, as we walked around taking in every authentic inch of this cozy cabin. I'm still not sure we saw everything! Kristi was very helpful and attentive when we contacted her. She even let us take a tour of her other houses on the property. Wow! They were equally amazing. This was such a cool and memorable experience for me and my daughters. We can't wait to stay in The Green Dragon next...or will we choose The Burrow...?

We couldnā€™t ask for a better host and a better place to surprise our Harry Potter fan daughter on her 10th birthday! It was an absolutely magical experience. The attention to detail in the recreation of Hagrid's home is nothing short of spectacular. Every corner of the hut is meticulously decorated, capturing the essence of the beloved character and his cozy abode. The host was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, adding to the immersive experience. If you're a Harry Potter fan or just appreciate extraordinary attention to detail, this place is a must-visit. Awesome Stay

What a magical place. My family really enjoyed staying here, which is close to some great hiking and activities. I would suggest updating the information on the VRBO site, though. There is not an oven or stove. There is only a mini fridge with no freezer, two plates, two forks, and no bowls. I understand that the owners do not want cooking in the hut because of smells and preserving the place, but it would have helped to know this ahead of time so we could have packed differently and brought a cooler for ice, etc. The owners are so nice and great at communicating other than this.

A part of me doesn't want to leave a review because I want to keep this place all to myself!! But it needs to be shared and enjoyed by all who appreciate attention to detail and the magic/awe of whimsy. Kristi has created a really special place - one that is entirely immersive and leaves you feeling like you have truly escaped into a fairy tale. Hagrid's stay has everything you need - basic kitchen amenities, good sized bathroom, comfortable bed, large couch, ample seating, tvs - and lots of extra touches that are over the top good in every way. I personally didn't stay at the property. I rented it for my son and his fiancƩe. She's a huge Harry Potter fan, they both had a birthday in May and they will soon be having my 4th grandchild. I wanted to do something nice for them and they LOVED the place!! They said that it was nice to be alone and cut off from the world. Just the two of them. She shared photos with me and was just so thrilled at how realistic this place is in comparison to the movies. It was a good time for them and I greatly appreciate you allowing me to do this for them. I hope they took great care of Hagrid's Hut.
