Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops ā€“ including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques ā€“ as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

The accommodations were nice and very clean. There is a lot of construction nearby so you need to be prepared. Close to King St. Once the construction is completed, this will be the ideal location.

Great place to stay for a girls trip

The beds were so comfortable and the house was so cute. Such a quick walk to shops and bars. The house was pretty clean. Although, we did see a couple roaches in the house during our stay.

Excellent stay within walking distance of King Street

This stay was just what we were looking for, as we wanted something within walking distance, but still far enough away to have the option of getting away from it all. The stay was incredibly clean upon arrival, and our host was more than communicative. 10/10 would recommend.

Extremely small and in a sketchy area

Besides the roach that was crawling on one of us and woke us up from sleep, the second bathroom has the smallest sink Iā€™ve ever seen. It was cramped and barely adequate. The person with whom I was in contact did have the place sprayed, but we slept with the lights on for the rest of our stay. The location was one of two houses in the block and the rest was vacant lots and construction. It was very close to Big Bad Breakfast

Great family spot

Very clean and remodeled house! Had the entire downstairs with 3 bedrooms, 2 bath and an extra living area with a fold out futon. Private parking that is hidden from the road which is very rare in this area with two spots available!A block from king street which has tons of night life. Within 1-1 1/2 miles walking distance to the historic district, right off meeting street which has great restaurants and not far from market street with local shopping! A great stop on the way to waterfront park! Provided toiletries in each bathroom; very clean inside; and had sounds machines for each room to block any noise that may bother you (more on the weekend then during the week). Also a dollar tree/general right around the corner for snacks or anything you may have forgotten!Host was VERY QUICK to respond to any questions and gave suggestions when needed on places to go!

Short Charleston Stay

Accommodations were very nice..Beds were great.Could use table for eating/game playing. Size of vehicle is really limited to subcompact and should be spelled out in property description.

Inside accurately reflected on website. Outside area sketchy; very early morning noisy construction and garbage pickup. Narrow parking - had to pull in mirrors to get between buildings. Back bathroom sink did not drain well. Kitchen not well stocked - no potholders and only one laundry pod available.

Good Place

House was good, three bedrooms, two bathrooms. I liked how both bathrooms were outside of bedrooms. Itā€™s right on the outskirts of two major streets downtown. One warning is the front bedroom you can hear all the traffic, people walking by, construction. Two different people try to sleep in that front bedroom and both had too much trouble sleeping. Had to book a hotel for our additional persons so they could sleep.

Love the stay and that it was close to King st

Only one draw back was it was in a construction and rehab area which the owner has no control over. Only one suggestion would be a small dining table instead of a center aisle would have been nice and possibly a tv in all bedrooms.

Clean but noisy

Overall the house was nice and very clean. Location to King Street is excellent. We were in town for a concert a Music Farm which was easily walkable. Right now there is a lot of construction near the home and it is quite noisy. We could also hear the guests walking loudly in the unit above us.

The condo is much larger than it appears and was very clean and accommodating. The check-in/check out was super easy and their guest relations are superb.

Nice place to stay in Charleston

The best part about this property is that the 3 of us had separate bedrooms. The beds and linens and lighting were comfortable, and the living room(s)and kitchen were nice. Everything was cute and clean, and really no complaints. Some things to be aware of are the view (there isn't one) and the very tiny driveway. If you have a big vehicle, you are not going to fit, and there is no street parking. The price was right for us, and we were comfortable and had a nice time. It was a little far to walk to where we wanted to go, but if driving, it's pretty central. We would book here again.

Not a bad place to stay

Pros: Location to restaurants and activities General cleanliness Washer and dryer available Nice kitchen area Multiple sitting areas Cons: The listing says that there are two parking spots available BUT the driveway to reach them is VERY narrow and only compact vehicles can get through. We were driving a mini van as we were traveling as a family. You could tell other vehicles had attempted with damage to their vehicles as there was car paint on the sides of the two houses and the down spout for the rain gutter had been smashed in. We didnā€™t want to chance it on our rental so we had to pay for parking at the nearest parking garage. It was a 10 minute walk away and cost us approximately $110 for the three days we were there. Very small bathrooms. My husband is 6ā€™2ā€ snd 140lbs. He was pretty uncomfortable in there. The furniture is stained with some unknown substances and could use a cleaning.

Last minute trip

Our original spring break plans were cancelled and we needed somewhere to goā€¦ we had never been to Charleston and this place didnā€™t make you book for a whole week! It was pretty much just like the pics! Good location- a little noisy but will prob be a great spot after all of the construction. A few things that need more warningā€¦ the driveway/parking we had to turn our mirrors in to drive into the parking spaces- it is ridiculously tight! Also the bathroom sinks are teeny!!! If someone is staying in the unit above just know youā€™ll hear them. Other than that it was clean and spacious, well decorated and very close to public transportation and King street:) would stay again!
