"House is very conveniently located in the heart of Charleston with many restaurants and bars withing short walking distance. We stayed in the ground floor apartment with a second unit on the second floor. The house is spacious, beds were very comfortable and bathroom has good water pressure. We had a few challenges getting the heat going (it was unseasonably cold), but the owners and property managers were extremely responsive and helpful. "Bright, cheery home. Host was excellent, understanding when we broke a pitcher. Only negative was the switch on the downstairs reading light not working."

"The coffee maker was broken. The heat in the home was unevenly distributed with the upstairs too warm and the downstairs very cold. Employees of the host violated the host's own parking regulations on three occasions. Light bulbs were burned out on both interior & exterior light fixtures. None of the downstairs furniture was comfortable! Hot water was not readily available to the primary bathroom sink unless the shower hot water had first been running a long time. "We really wanted to love this place. It wasn’t horrible by any means, it just could be way better with a few improvements. Pros- Host was responsive and prompt in communication. Even allowed us to check in one hour early. Also a perk that we could leave our luggage in the foyer before check in and out time to accommodate our next stop without hauling luggage all over the city. Bed is comfortable. Biggest pro is the location. It is truly in the heart of the city, we were able to walk everywhere....
