"The front desk staff were fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about them. The bar/in hotel restaurant however might have been the worst service I’ve ever had. It took over 20 minutes to get a simple drink, and another 40 minutes to get our food, which was wrong/not what we ordered. The server was very polite (I don’t recall her name), but the wait times and lack of attention to detail was abysmal. The hotel and stay were wonderful, but I would never eat or get a drink there if I come back"

"The hotel is brand new and everything was excellent, expect for two things: (I) the AC did not work properly — the AC panels in the rooms were just useless to regulate the temperature; so we were literally freezing, while some other guests complained their rooms were too hot; and (II) there is only a tiny, little closet in the room that barely has room for a couple of pants. The bad thing is that the AC problem makes it a very annoying experience. Sorry… but the hotel could be great if the AC is...

"The stay was great, room was great, breakfast was good and hotel is within walking distance to everything we needed and wanted to see and do. One suggestion I will make is the showers need some sort of shelf to hold products on."

"—poor signage at back of hotel, trundled my luggage up the wheelchair ramp only to find a sign saying this was a private entrance, go around to the front - where there were only stairs, no ramp. This despite website promises of handicap accessibility. I pointed out the problem to the front desk person and he said “There IS a sign.” But you can only know that by getting close to the back door. By then you’ve wasted a lot of effort. —front desk guy was unhelpful. Had to be asked to help with...

"This is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Detroit. I always enjoy my stay because the staff is friendly, professional, and very helpful. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. My only minor complaint is that housekeeping could be a bit more thorough with wiping down surfaces at times. Overall, it’s a great hotel, and I would definitely stay here again."
