"The front desk staff were fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about them. The bar/in hotel restaurant however might have been the worst service I’ve ever had. It took over 20 minutes to get a simple drink, and another 40 minutes to get our food, which was wrong/not what we ordered. The server was very polite (I don’t recall her name), but the wait times and lack of attention to detail was abysmal. The hotel and stay were wonderful, but I would never eat or get a drink there if I come back"

"The hotel is brand new and everything was excellent, expect for two things: (I) the AC did not work properly — the AC panels in the rooms were just useless to regulate the temperature; so we were literally freezing, while some other guests complained their rooms were too hot; and (II) there is only a tiny, little closet in the room that barely has room for a couple of pants. The bad thing is that the AC problem makes it a very annoying experience. Sorry… but the hotel could be great if the AC is...

"The Element is in a great location. The room was very nice and clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. I liked the view and the kitchenette. Overall and excellent place to stay during the Movement festival."

"My wife and I stayed at the Roehm House. It was awesome. Quiet, well maintained and friendly staff. We will book a stay again, when we travel back to Detroit. The only downside was no Continental Breakfast. But I understand the reason because of some renovations. With that said, it easy within easy walking distance to several restaurants. However, on our last night of our stay, we enjoyed some crackers and cheese with wine on the front porch with the beautiful weather and surroundings. We will...

"A very unique hotel! Accommodations were unlike any other that we have experienced. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast served at the lovely bar was very good. The decor and furnishings are appropriate to the club’s history. We would recommend The Detroit Club to anyone who appreciates an unusual night’s sleep. "

"Bed was worn out sank in the middle like a taco. Loud bass pounding from a club until 3am good luck sleeping. Ac cant be tirned down passed 66 and the thermostat is right next to register so the room is above 70 really all that for 500 a night what a joke!"

"Property was clean, spacious and close to all amenities in the downtown area. There were a few appliances that needed to be replaced, the iron did not work and the tea kettle lid didn't close property. Minor inconveniences, but overall a great stay."
