It was a little loud for my taste, apparently my neighbors had a problem at night and had to change rooms - they were not quiet about it. It was a random weekday so I can't imagine what it's like on a weekend. The staff tried to be really nice but there was a lot of confusion. None of them seemed to know about a complimentary cocktail besides welcome champagne even though it's listed right on the amenity page of...

"Love this place! Our flight was modified and we arrived much earlier than the usual check in time. They tried to get us a room asap, but had been sold out the night before. So we just had to nap on the lobby sofas until our room was ready. And as soon as it was, they immediately checked us in. Such a fun hotel Art Deco style and the history of the building before is really awesome. This hotel is fun, clean and quiet. To return to Detroit, this will be my top selection."

"The hotel is brand new and everything was excellent, expect for two things: (I) the AC did not work properly — the AC panels in the rooms were just useless to regulate the temperature; so we were literally freezing, while some other guests complained their rooms were too hot; and (II) there is only a tiny, little closet in the room that barely has room for a couple of pants. The bad thing is that the AC problem makes it a very annoying experience. Sorry… but the hotel could be great if the AC is...

"Perfect location if attending events at ford field. Room was larger than expected and very clean. Front desk staff was extremely helpful. Valet wait was long but with the special events going on it was to be expected"

"The room was clean and I loved the free shuttle to the arena! Only con is that we stayed on the eleventh floor. The front desk representative asked us high or low floor but failed to tell us that the twelfth floor was being renovated! So at 7am we were awakened to loud hammering and drilling. The view from the room was beautiful and we loved the amenities, we would’ve chosen another floor if we were privy to the renovations."

"This is a historic, charming old home. With that, expect to use stairs to reach your room. We stayed a week and had housekeeping service only twice during our stay. The desk staff was very accommodating and filled our request for toilet paper and towels quickly, with a smile. They made us feel very at home and welcome. We enjoyed the common room with a phonograph and classic albums. The bed was very comfortable. The house was quiet and well air conditioned. We slept great! I would stay...
