We enjoyed our stay at the Legend Woodland Lodge. We were there for a family reunion with 25 people of varying ages. The house was comfortable with sufficient bedrooms and spaces that it never felt crowded.The kids enjoyed the play area and built a fire in the night. The yard and surrounding areas were great with lots of play structures for children and adults. We enjoyed our stay, visiting Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas.

A group of 16 guys from my church spent a weekend getaway at this property. It was perfect for us. When we got there, the owner spent a good amount of time with us and he is awesome. The beds were comfortable, the communal space was spacious, and there was more room than we needed. This would be great for large groups, or a few families. The pictures online dont do it justice. They provided firewood, which was awesome. Great Property, Great Owner!

We were a hiking club of 21 from Ohio who came for the weekend to explore Ohiopyle. The house was perfect for us. We had a big potluck Saturday night and the kitchen was well-equipped with all we needed. Also loved the dining room that was like a restaurant set up with 5 separate tables. Also loved the great room -- fit almost all of us in there for playing Blank Slate and Guesstures games. Plenty of room to spread out to library or downstairs family room if we didn't all want to be together. The rooms were surprisingly quiet while sleeping -- that's rare with all these people. Our only wish was if the weather would have been nicer so that we could have enjoyed the beautiful porch and backyard area. We will definitely stay again!

This was our second year at "Legends". The house has more than adequate space for the 20 family members who were able to make our ski trip to Seven Springs. The 3-story rustic house has massive wood beams and a 14-foot-tall lighted Christmas tree in the spacious Great Room. We all had a wonderful weekend!

Every year we go to 7 Springs for a long weekend of skiing. This was the first year that we stayed at this property. Everyone really enjoyed the place and how close it was to the slopes. Our group was about 25 people, and it has been difficult to find a place that can host a large group. This fits the bill. One small issue is that a couple of the people mentioned that the bottom-floor bedrooms smelt a little musty. Once we opened up the rooms and got the air moving, the smell went away. I will put this place on my list to return in the future. Everyone enjoyed themselves.

The house was absolutely perfect for our ski vacation with family and friends. It was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had every amenity we could have asked forā€”from a fully equipped kitchen to a fully stocked playroom and thoughtful touches throughout. We were just a short drive from the Seven Springs resort, which made our trip so convenient and enjoyable. Russell was a fantastic host - from the warm welcome to the helpful recommendations, communication was seamless!

This property is beautiful with several areas for groups to gather. The living room with the fire place is exceptional. The kitchen is also very spacious. We had a few items in need of attention and Russ came to help.

This is our third consecutive Christmas at this home. It is perfect for our extended family. We love the kitchen with the couch and chair, beverage bar and ample space. Many in our group love all the space for all the games we like to play. It is decorated to give us the holiday spirit. The bedrooms and bathrooms gives everyone privacy while being together.

Weā€™ve been renting a house in the Seven Springs area for 6-7 years now and this by far was our most favorite. It was the perfect size for us overall. It has an amazing fireplace that made our entire experience more cozy and warm. The layout is great for groups to be watching football, chatting in the kitchen or relaxing in the fireplace room. Great kitchen for cooking. Russ could not have been more accommodating and we loved the location and its proximity to everywhere.

Our group had a wonderful stay at Legends Woodland Lodge. Russ was great to work with and the pictures donā€™t do the property justice. We had a group of individuals for our nonprofit who had not met until this weekend. The space and layout proved to be welcoming for everyone and the ability to be inside and outside all weekend for programming was wonderful. Property was also easy to get to and also close to shops if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family was in town for a wedding and this beautiful home was the perfect gathering place. The home is massive, clean, well-apportioned, and in an absolutely beautiful property. There is a childrenā€™s play room, swingset, and lawn to run around. Our favorite part was the large porch where we spent most majority of our mornings and evenings enjoying time together. Although the weather was perfect to sit outside, had it been inclimate, there is a very large family room that would comfortably sit 20 people around the rustic stone fireplace. Highly recommend.

We recently stayed at this lodge for a long weekend for our family reunion, and it was absolutely perfect! The space was spacious and comfortable, with enough room for everyone to spread out and relax. My family couldn't stop commenting on how cute and cozy the lodge was, and we especially appreciated the ample number of bathroomsā€”such a plus when you have a large group! The evenings were a highlight for us, as we gathered around the fire pit to make s'mores. It was a special time for the whole family, and the kids had a blast. Speaking of the kids, they loved playing on the swing sets and running around in the front yard. It was such a joy to watch them having so much fun. We also spent a lot of time on the front porch, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect spot to start the day with a cup of coffee or unwind in the evening. Overall, this lodge exceeded our expectations and made our family reunion truly memorable.

We had a great time at the house for a family reunion of close to 20 people. The house was spacious, bedrooms and bathrooms for all, landscaping was beautiful, and kitchen and dining allowed for easy access for all. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the great front porch, shooting hoops in the driveway, playing whiffle ball in the yard, roasting smores at the Firepit, and taking family portraits on the picturesque grounds. Russ was very helpful and attentive to every detail. Would love to come back soon!

Had a great time with all my friends here. Very secluded so hard to get to and no cell service but very large and can house a large group comfortably. Only problem was getting a load of passive aggressive texts from the owner because we didnā€™t empty the bathroom trashes and missed a can during cleanup. Apparently thatā€™s not covered in $400 cleaning fee lol. Either way, made a lot of great memories at this place.

House is great for a big crowd. Most of the bedrooms have their own attached bathrooms, which is very convenient. Lots of room to spread out. The front porch and fire pit are the best!! Such great spots to hang out with friends/family. The hosts have thought of everything to make staying there very enjoyable. They live on the property as well and were immediately available for any questions or concerns that we had. Had a great family reunion!

Our three-generation family group had an amazing stay at this property. We gathered around memorable meals in the well-stocked gourmet kitchen, made s'mores and told stories around the fire pit, and enjoyed hiking and water fun in the local area. Thanks to the excellent host, check in was efficient and simple. The instructions for everything were clear, and Russ instantly answered a few questions that came up. Four families traveled to celebrate my parents' 55th wedding anniversary. This house was the perfect location and we loved the library, the ample bedrooms and bathrooms, the airy great room. We appreciated Russ's tips for local shopping, sights to see, and we loved every minute of our stay. Thanks for a memorable time!
