"I thought it was walking distance from downtown San Pedro and you COULD walk it but wouldnt want to especially at night. If you stay here get a golf cart and really pay attention on how you got there. Directions on google maps at night are noy very good. It was really cheap....get what u pay for!"

"The grounds were very well maintained on a daily basis. Landscaping is wonderful, large trees to provide shade, house iguanas, and give a Belize jungle vibe. We met a lot of fun people while sharing the kitchen area. Our host cared for our needs, ranging from our golf cart rental to restaurant suggestions. She invited us to share a meal and visit. The room was cleaned regularly. Our shower was outside under a tree. Which was pretty cool."

"The apartment is in a great location. It’s the best part of the rental. The manager was wonderful and responsive , and accommodating when we needed it. The place could benefit from some updating , the pictures look better than the actual state of the furnishing. One of the bathroom does not have a shower curtain which is not super easy to shower ( you have to either be careful or sit in the bathtub) plus if you are tall you will touch the ceiling ( my son is 6’2 he had to do some bending). "I've stayed in Valento many times and they are so amazing---their attentiveness and dedication to having the best experience is unmatched. The only reason I'm giving this review 4 stars is that there is a hookah lounge next door that plays music until they close at 12AM (at least during our stay in December). It made falling asleep pretty hard. If you stay at this gorgeous property, bring ear plugs or a sounds machine if you can't fall asleep to music."
