"It is a new property attached to the Bodmin Jail, which makes for a convenient visit to that site (the museum and 4D experience as good). The breakfast is very good and the breakfast / bar staff were very nice. The checkin was mixed. I could definitely tell they treat folks booking directly much nicer (the person standing next to me had booked direct) than booking via Expedia. "Ive stayed here a few times. The rooms are really nice but it's the second time I've stayed out of about 4 times where the linen/towels have not been clean. I came to replace the towels by ultimately had to give up due to needing to leave. The room wasnt ever refreshed for the next night stay. For the price (I paid about £400 for 2 days) it dosent really ever match up with the service, everything is too much trouble. Ive given it a few chances but there always seems to be so many friction...
