"It was exactly what we had hoped. The private balcony right over the water, getting lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean. The room was beautiful and very clean. "We had a great stay at The Fred! The room was on the smaller side, but perfectly comfortable for a couple. The hotel has a fun, vibrant vibe with great amenities. "It’s a quiet, beautiful location. We basically had the place to ourselves until the wine tasting night. It’s close to Point Udall, which is a great place to watch the sunrise. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. There were only two downsides. One, I booked a room for a family of five, so I assumed there would be a sofa/bed or just a sofa. "We just got back from staying in the Sunset Suite at VH with our family of 4. We loved the quirkiness of the house, built in the late 18th century so it has wonky floors, but it gives it character. "The resort is very nice it’s just far from everything. You have to take a taxi if you don’t rent a car to drive around. Everything is about 20-30 minutes away from the resort.
