"Our stay at Cottages By The Sea was absolutely amazing! This quaint little complex is a crown jewel of St. Croix. The staff was very friendly and it is a very calm and relaxing environment with pristine beach access. We stayed in the Crow's nest in which our second level porch overlooking the sea was breathtaking. We will absolutely be coming back!"

"The place and location was very nice and clean. It was updated and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the pool. The beach was inundated with sargassum. At first it felt a little disappointing, but we were able to travel to so many beautiful beaches around the island and do so many great things. I truly feel that the sargassum didn’t affect our stay. Maybe it even enhanced it by forcing us to go out and explore."

"David’s home is perfectly situated with more privacy than anticipated. There is greenery and eco-forest on one side and trees blocking neighbors on the other. We enjoyed the pool and shore with our 5 and 7 year old kids. David provided helpful information in a welcome book. Peaceful stay. "

"This is a beautiful location right on the ocean and very central to activities on the island. Chad and Emily were there to greet us, offered us great suggestions as to how to enjoy the island, and even made us delicious cookies upon our arrival.The cottage is well-appointed and very clean. The space is very private and separate from the main house. We enjoyed golfing, snorkeling and hiking on the island, and we would certainly recommend this cottage to couples who just want to get away! Enjoy...

"The property was gorgeous, and the accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The experience was perfect, and the host was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Unfortunately, the sargassum came in earlier than expected so we were unable to use the private beach to swim but still able to sit outside and enjoy the island breeze. "The condo was absolutely perfect! We changed our plans last minute and decided to stay here instead of a hotel and it was the best decision we ever made. The place had everything we could need. Rob was very responsive and answered every question we had. The pool and the beach were beautiful. The snack shack had great food and drinks. We will definitely be back and stay here again!"

It was clean, thoughtfully laid out, well appointed (kitchen equipment, beach items such as chairs amd towels and some snorkel gear, plently of linens, a box of games/cards, extras supplies like sunscreen and soaps), and had a great view. Check in and check out were simple, communication was clear, and the complex itself was clean and well kept (grounds, pool, grills, etc.). "This was a perfect location that had a beyond stunning view. We were able to get around the island easily with a rental car (highly recommend). Hosts were responsive and gave lots of valuable info before the stay. The beach in front of the condo was lovely. We were always able to get the temperature comfortable and had everything we needed in the condo. "

"I didn't mind the sargasm because I knew that was a possibility. The door frame was broken upon arrival so we were unable to lock our unit. The TV never worked even though someone came out to work on the WI-FI. The WI-FI didn't work for the 1st couple of days.There were cockroaches and ants found in the unit. The back porch floods when it rains so there is water damage.My family was able to have a great time and go to many beautiful beaches. We still made the best of it!"
