Amazing Views
Property was perfect for our getaway. Close enough to town, but still felt nice and secluded. The views are some of the best I've seen. Cabin also close to Blue Ridge Parkway access.

Wonderful and Magical
This property was absolutely incredible. Not only was it incredibly easy to find, it was an absolute gem to stay in. Nancy was so incredibly proactive on giving us directions for not only getting to the property but getting into it, and from start to finish, she was beyond professional and helpful. The property was so incredibly clean, and it is nestled right in a hillside overlooking the most incredible view of the mountains. And, it’s less than 30 minutes away from all of the fun things to do in Asheville, including the Biltmore, which we visited. It truly is the perfect getaway location. We will be booking again multiple times in the future.

Amazing mountain retreat
We stayed at the treetop mountain vista for 5 days and absolutely loved it. The house is fully equipped and very clean. The bed is soooo comfortable! We made good use of the deck with it’s beautiful views and definitely enjoyed the hot tub. The pool table came in handy for a rainy evening. We plan to come again!

Another Wonderful Visit
This is our 3rd time in a year and we live 6.5 hrs away! That should tell you how special this place is! Nancy is a fantastic, attentive host who shares her little bit of heaven. Wonderful views from everywhere! This is the best stocked VRBO that we have ever stayed in!

Simple yet fabulous
We loved every minute of staying at Nancy’s cabin from the moment we arrived! It’s beautiful Mountain View, it’s privacy, the hot tub, the pool table, the fire place and grill… just everything about it has us wanting to come back soon for longer. Usually we stay in something modern or an upscale hotel but this cabin is perfect, quiet, & had everything we needed.

Lovely honeymoon
We stayed here for 4 nights for our honeymoon. Great location, great views, very comfortable cabin and lots to do in the area. We were there in January and used it as a retreat to disconnect and relax. Perfect.

Relaxing local getaway
As parents of a young child, we VERY much needed this time away. We’re from the area, so we had plans of relaxation and dinner plans at our favorite restaurants, but found it hard to tear ourselves away from Nancy’s peaceful retreat. We ended up spending almost 100% of our time at the cabin and are already looking forward to a trip next year. Some personal favorites - stargazing in the hot tub at night (the mountains block the light pollution from Asheville and we had amazing nighttime views!), the many windows for natural sunlight during the day, the comfortable king sized bed, plus what was lovingly referred to as “the snore bed” in the back room (for when I needed a *bit* more peace and quiet from my husband’s deep sleep lol), and the cute little stuffed raccoon and bear hanging out in the cabin (a cute touch)! Thank you Nancy!

Weekend getaway

Relaxed and recharged
Very cozy, clean, and private space. Enjoyed waking up to the huge windows displaying the sunrise over the mountain. Hot tub for 2 really makes the place special. We got to enjoy it with a bit of snow. Highly recommend.

Just had to double our stay!
We stayed here with our dogs for a weekend trip. My wife and I both work remotely, and that well for us because the WiFi was fast and strong! We came from Ohio so it was a good 9 hour drive with stops. We arrived when it was dark and the short drive up the road where all the cabins are located, was a bit daunting. The driveway up to this cabin was even more daunting, seeing it for the first time in the moutain night. It wasnt that bad. We have an old small sedan, fwd and 200k on the clock - it made it up just fine every day. However, if you have a low profile car, it is a very steep driveway to consider the approach angle. Our first night, we quickly knew, we did not want to leave! We arrived on a Wednesday, and were supposed to leave Sunday. Back home they were calling for a winter vortex of cold and we did not want to leave our beautiful mountain cabin and return to that. We reached out to Nancy and extended our stay until the following Wednesday. She was very easy to work with and accommodating for us. We enjoyed our stay so much, but the biggest thing was this was our first vacation where we brought the dogs. The first day, we hiked up the mountain off the cabin, and our dogs had so much fun. One of our pups is over 10 years old, and he was running up the mountain like he was a puppy, and they both enjoyed being able to explore freely. We highly recommend Nancy's cabin and we cannot wait to come back!

Amazing vibe and view
The listing does not do this property justice, it is even better in person and the view is grand. This place is very nice, tucked away just far enough to enjoy the quiet stars at night but not too far away from good activities. Perfect for dogs. The host was incredible and insightful. Will definitely stay here again.

Peaceful Get Away
My husband and I absolutely enjoyed staying here. We loved sitting outside listening to all the animals and enjoying the hot tub. It was so peaceful out there. The house has everything you could need and bonus entertainment with the pool table. I would love to stay again, because it was homey and so close to everything we wanted to see!

Wonderful weekend away
Our weekend away in this cozy little cabin was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was quaint and just so welcoming. It was very clean and well equipped with the necessities to make our stay everything we needed to for me to have an amazing birthday weekend away. The Property Manager is very intentional in making sure to provide a place for you to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The scene of the beautiful mountains of God’s creation is breathtaking!! We definitely would love to come back should we visit Asheville again.

Very Enjoyable
We very much enjoyed our time. Nancy was very responsive to our questions. The home was in good order and the description of the steep driveway was accurate (very steep but navigated it well). The views and color of the leaves did not disappoint. A few minor tweaks would have put us over the top. The Jacuzzi temperature only read 104 which seemed generally cooler than we were accustomed to. The oven door was rather dirty and the glassware could be updated. Certainly the tweaks are minor compared to the responsiveness of the owner and the beautiful views that we enjoyed. Love this area of the country during this time of year.

Perhaps you meant it wasn’t reaching that. We have been having trouble lately with it and were slow to figure out exactly what was going on. We have a man coming today to fix the problem.(we hope). Ideal Location!
This cabin is the perfect combination of location, coziness, and cleanliness. We fell for the cabin, hot tub and view online and it did not fair to impress. Waking every day to the mountains and changing colors was so exciting! The cabin has everything you need, including robes for hot tubbing. Plus, the owner, Nancy, is super responsive and nice. Awesome romantic cozy private cabin
it was Devine! Super private, rustic, cozy and romantic-stargazing and a view from the hot tub was magical. Close to great hiking, wonderful dinners in Asheville and fun for our dog. we loved it and will definitely be back! Gorgeous Private Cabin
This property was so beautiful! There are a few nearby cabins but this one rests at the top of a hill and you cannot see any of them from the property. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to be close to the blue ridge parkway and hiking. We would definitely come back!

Tremendous Treetop Weekend
What an absolutely gorgeous place. My wife and I needed a weekend getaway and this was precisely what we had in mind. It is exactly as described and depicted in the photos, and was just as secluded as we'd hoped. The views were beautiful, the hot tub nice and warm, and Nancy thought of absolutely everything. We'll definitely come back for a longer stay.

Perfect Respite
We had only a short stay in Nancy’s cabin but that didn’t matter! I don’t think I’ve ever felt as rested after a short weekend trip as I did after leaving the treetop mountain vista. It’s so calm and peaceful and the cabin is one of the most comfortable VRBOs ive stayed in.

Being One with Nature
The cabin was extremely clean and very well kept. The view of the mountains was as pictured. We really liked the location in relation to the Blue Ridge Parkway since our goal was to explore as much nature as possible by car since this was our first trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains. The location gave us the opportunity to visit many overlooks and also go back onto Ashville, when needed. It was very relaxing with a great view! I would recommend having breakfast at the cabin ro enjoy the view with your coffee or drink of choice. Also, the room next to the bathroom was a huge bonus for me. When I am on vacation, I like my bags, etc. out of site for a more relaxing atmosphere and the extra room did just that. The area where the fridge sat was also a bonus for me. That gave us a space for our travel cooler as well as our spare groceries to be out of site too. We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks for making our stay great!

Best Romantic Getaway!
We chose this place for a romantic long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. It was absolutely perfect! It provided lots of privacy without being too far outside of the city. The bed was super comfortable, the sheets were soft, and the view was spectacular. The hot tub worked great, which we have found to be a real gamble with other places we have rented in the past. We decided to stay in one night and cook dinner, which the kitchen had all the right amenities to make this happen (sharp knives, good supply of spices, and cooking pans)! Nancy was a superb host. She was a prompt communicator and was so helpful when we had questions about the area. If you are wanting an authentic cozy cabin getaway, this is The Spot!

What a great spot
What a great house and location. The view is spectacular. We felt like the house was bigger than the pictures made it seem. Plenty of room for us. Loved that there is fence material around the deck since we had our smallish dog with us. Was very nice to relax in the hot tub with that view. We're not really pool players but it was fun to play a couple of games in the evening. The driveway is steep but doable. We were in a 4WD truck but I also drove up it in 2WD with no issues. Most of it is between 12 &15% grade with the most at 19%. Also there is room to turn around once you are at the top, even in a full size truck with a kayak in the back. We did several hikes, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Ashville, and kayaked Lake Junaluska, all an easy drive from the house. Would definitely stay here again!!

The view was fantastic. The cabin had a nice quiet atmosphere and was just what we needed. Can't wait to see how beautiful it is in Fall and Winter

Cozy Mountain Getaway for Two
Cozy cabin for a couple to get away. Everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed the comfy bed, the mountain view, the hot tub, playing pool and stargazing.

Great stay. Amazing beautiful clean home with great view … amazing view. Complete privacy in a beautiful cabin. I recommend you go to looking glass falls and the sliding rocks. The ride on the way there leads you to the top of mount Pisgah which is totally worth it!

Great Scenic and Private Getaway
The cabin location was excellent and in great condition. It absolutely met our expectations and was very clean. The hot tub view is just beautiful and a relaxing way to end a day of hiking. I appreciated all of the little details that Nancy put into the space like setting aside special towels for pets if you bring them as well as a special throw for the pets. We also had a power outage due to a bad storm during our stay and before we could reach out to Nancy ourselves to find out what kind of time frame was expected for a return of service, she had already reached out to us with information. We really appreciated that attention to our comfort.
