It is just a few miles from the center of Puerto Morelos, and convenient for daytripping to other places - Valladolid, Ek Balam, cenotes, Playa del Carmen. We had a little confusion about getting let to gated community, but the hosts were able to quickly straighten it out. I guess I would rather have the guards be overzealous than to let just anyone in. "The views were spectacular. The dinning table was huge and had plenty of space for dinners with the family. Bedrooms were spacious. Any questions we had were answered and resolved quickly. "This property was amazing for our family vacation. Perfect size and all the amenities. Filtered water is a huge plus. Private access to the beach was also fantastic. It is farther from a larger grocery store, but it is an easy uber ride. we also liked that is was not in the 'party zone' it was very peaceful. Miriam was very great to work with. She was timely with her communication and was very helpful with all of our questions. Highly recommend!!!"

"Villa Marlin is a great complex. The pools are clean, the property is well maintained for its age. The unit was not renovated and needs a bit of care, but it was clean and the view is absolutely amazing. 180 degrees of non-obstructed beach and ocean view. The owner is easy to communicate with and is very accommodating. The only complaint we have is the hardeness of the beds in the second room. My kids (young adults) found them a bit uncomfortable. Our stay was short but overall great!"
