Wonderful ranch house
This was, by far, the best rental we have stayed at. The nicely decorated ranch house was so clean, comfortable, cozy, private and fun. I could go on and on with all the positives. Our dogs LOVED the big yard and quickly made “friends” with the visiting cows. It was great. Irene is the best. Easy to communicate with and made everything so welcoming. Definitely get some of her farm fresh eggs!!! As for the area, Camp Verde has so much to offer. Hiking, biking, casino, restaurants and of course it’s a beautiful area!! You are close to so much as well. We drove to Flagstaff, Sedona, Phoenix, Prescott, Jerome and all the little towns in between. I would definitely recommend this place for your getaway!!! Thank you so much Irene!!!

Ranch House get-away
Western themed - even had cows, calves, and horses in the pasture behind the house. The pond next to the property had geese and other birds making use of the water. Really enjoyed our stay.

Must stay in this awesome ranch house
We spent 3 wonderful days here. The house is absolutely gorgeous, we didn’t even want to leave the house (also, we stayed here in January). We just wanted some quiet days away from work and the city, and this place is perfect for that. The house is beautifully furnished, the kitchen is very well-equipped even with essentials (oil, paper towel, coffee maker, utensils, dinner este, cookware, etc.). The view is lovely, the backyard is also great for chilling at the firepit, or BBQ. The fishing pont with the fountain is so cute. Irene is wonderful. She stopped by just to make sure we have everything we need. We definitely want to come back.

A great place to unwind.
Easy to find, very clean and inviting. Told host we were coming to celebrate a birthday, she went the extra mile and got a small birthday cake for us! Would go back in a heartbeat!

Low key, quiet and relaxing
Our 17 day stay in Jan-Feb had many cooler days than we were hoping. Did find enough days with sunshine to hike, shop and find great eating establishments. The Ranch House was always nice to come back to for a serene laid back environment. The decor was definitely western and offered all the convenience we needed. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home
We rented it for family members who were staying in town. We live in the area. We were able to all gather here for a barbecue in the backyard with Mountain View’s. The next evening we used the very open kitchen and living room areas to enjoy another family home cooked meal and card and board games. It’s close to Clear Creek and just beautiful. The Owner has decorated the Home immaculately. We are grateful for the experience.

Oasis
The property was beautiful. We only spent three nights there and it wasn’t enough. The green of the yards and pastures was a little oasis in the area. The house was so clean. Can’t say anything bad about the place. I just want to go back.

A slice of heaven
I was looking for a secure property to take my new puppy to so that we could practice long line work around farm animals as distractions. I also was traveling without my husband for the first time with not only the puppy but a senior dog so this was a big task for me. What a beautiful beautiful setting this is! My puppy quickly became a farm dog racing out to see the steer every morning. The home is spotless and adequately stocked. It’s a little bit off the grid so when storms roll through, be prepared knowing you may lose power and electricity as well as Wi-Fi phone service.

Beautiful & Relaxing
The property was gorgeous and serene with so much to do nearby and onsite. Our host Irene was welcoming, friendly and gracious. Our dog, a corgi, would hardly come inside because he loved it so much. Chasing squirrels, barking at the cows in the pasture and running around the lush landscape. You can fish in the pond on the property (catch and release, equipment onsite), pet/feed the farm animals, wineries, rodeos, farmers market, river and creek access... I could go on and on. Our new favorite place!

Great place to stay!
The Ranch House is a wonderful retreat from the hectic grind of everyday work. We were pleasantly surprised to not only have a kitchen with basic cookware but also found additional items as well (thank you Irene for being so kind as to not only supply a coffee maker but also the coffee, tea and purified drinking water). Lots of shade on back porch with an excellent grill. The washer and dryer is also an excellent touch. Roomy yet cozy the Ranch House has checkers, card games, books Wi-Fi, TV... I can go on and on - wait did you also know you can sit at the bar and have a nice drink or glass of wine (byob)? I think we will be bringing ourselves and our dog back again as it was just a great place to chill and bring ourselves back into balance.

The best little country place setting
We live in Phoenix and needed a weekend getaway, away from all our everyday responsibilities, house renovations, plus it was my husbands 60th birthday. What a quiet place with so much beautiful landscape and inside was decorated so country cowboy cute! There were a lot of unexpected extras. Highly recommend! Thank you Irene! ❤️

We loved it as soon as we walked through the door and were sad to leave after our five week stay. Spotless, beautiful with many special touches with western theme decor, spacious, back porch to relax in the sunshine and watch the animals(cows, horses, ducks, birds) and Irene is a friendly and warm host. Beautiful ranch house!
Beautifully renovated historic home in the country. All the comforts of home with room to roam. Our dog especially loved running in the pasture, making friends with the horses and cows. Fresh pecans from the tree out back were an added bonus. Thank you!

I love it here
The Ranch House is a slice of Heaven on Earth. The decor is nicely done in a western theme and the furnishings are comfy. I worked from home in the enclosed patio which afforded me great light and views. The property is just so peaceful and so much time was enjoyed outside on the back patio under the shade of a large pecan tree. My pup enjoyed having a large yard to run and play in. Irene was so nice and responsive with her communication. Close proximity to Clear Creek Winery and only a few minutes from downtown Camp Verde.

Beautiful Ranch House
Stayed here for 3 nights in July. The house was clean and the beds were comfy! Plenty of things to do on the property. We visited the goats, chickens, cows and horses and enjoyed giving them apples and carrots. Fresh farm eggs from Irene were the best, along with fresh corn and watermelon from Hausen Farms. Best watermelon we ever ate! Irene was out of town (she let me know ahead of time) but was reachable by VRBO with any questions we had. The caretaker of the farm, Luis, is very friendly. Make sure you say hi to him if you see him around. The house is right off the freeway, yet far enough to not be bothered with the noise. We could sit in the beautiful backyard and not notice any noise. It did make me pretty nervous with my dog as the front wasn’t fully fenced, however the sides and back of the property are fenced and I was made aware of this before booking. We enjoyed grilling out while sipping on a glass of wine watching the horses graze in the grass. The pond area was a nice spot to fish (they like hotdogs) and a nice spot to cool off rowing on the paddle boats. Great spot to exercise your pet that’s fully fenced in! Only request would be a DVD player for the kids to have something to do when it’s too warm to be outside. :) There is a Dollar General Store close to the property to grab ice or anything else you might need for your stay. Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely home. Hope to return one day!

Away from the crowds, so relaxing
Such a beautiful gem within half an hour or so of the busy Sedona area, this spacious house has everything and your charming hostess lives next door. So much fun fishing the pond, which is loaded with bluegill and bass and anglers of any age can catch over and over with the supplied gear. Creeks, wineries and other adventures nearby, i.e. something for everyone.

Charming Arizona Ranch House
We had an amazing time! The location was perfect for sightseeing - so many interesting towns close by with breath taking views! The house was beautiful and well stocked - the view off the back porch was amazing. So peaceful - birds signing - cattle and horses grazing - heaven! The beds were so comfortable and welcoming after a day of hiking! The pond was wonderful in the evening - so many fish caught! The owner was so kind and helpful she has a Beautiful place - we will be returning!

Great escape from Phoenix
Irene is an amazing host! The house was immaculate and had everything we needed! It was peaceful and a great escape from Phoenix! Camp Verde Ranch House
Enjoyable stay at Irene's Ranch House. Centrally located to several charming towns, trail adventures, local history and beautiful landscapes. One can feel the "positive" energy that surrounds you!! Not to mention family owned places to eat like Udderly Divine Bakery and Cafe, main street Camp Verde! Good area for Mexican food too! We were never disappointed!! We stayed Jan and Feb 2021. Our chocolate lab Nixon became friends with the horses. He'd bark and they'd come trotting to the fence for carrots. Enjoyed watching the cattle, goats and chickens too. A good time was had by all!! Perfect for young children
The Ranch House is a wonderful place to stay with young children. Irene was such a generous and inviting hostess, allowing our toddler to pet the horses, cows, and goats. He loved going into the chicken coop too. We loved waking up to cows in our backyard, and having them rest near us beside the firepit in the evenings. Irene sells fresh eggs as well, which we cooked for breakfast in the well-stocked kitchen. This was a very comfortable cabin isolated from crowds, which reduces your risk traveling during COVID. Thank you for your hospitality, Irene! We will definitely recommend this property to our friends with young children.

Awesome Ranch House!
The Ranch House My husband and I had the pleasure to stay in this historic house updated with ranch charm. It includes an enclosed front porch with breakfast table and beautiful view. A game table area, vintage saloon style bar and antique furniture accents gives the house a unique feel. Dinning table has a view of tree foliage and at night you can enjoy the lit water fountains in pond. Spacious 2 bedrooms. All the ammenities are offered. Both front and back porch have relaxing views with sound of water running freely in irrigation canal that runs from hills above to nearby creek. Enjoy relaxing with your cup of coffee in the morning while listening to the birds or sit around the fire pit and enjoy the many stars in the night sky. Another perk to staying at The Ranch House is daily visits from the horses looking for a carrot or apple treat. Take a visits to Ms Irene's house to gather fresh eggs from the hens or help out feeding livestock. Fishing poles are readily available for catch and release in the pond, or just relax and read a book. From Sedona to Prescott, there are numerous destinations to visit all within a 1 to 2 hour drive. Stay local and visit the quaint antique shops, wineries, art galleries or the many hiking trails nearby. Camp Verde is home to a brand new equestrian center, Out of Africa wildlife zoo and the historic Montezuma's Castle. The 2 months we stayed we didn't get a chance to do everything we wanted so we will be coming back to visit! I recommend The Ranch House for your next visit to northern Arizona. You wont be disappointed!

Country Escape
This was a perfect place to escape. Our family of four enjoyed everything about the property. In the morning you can wake up and have coffee on the back patio while your children feed the horses. In the afternoon we would go next door and go “catching” (you will catch fish) in and. Irene’s pond or visit any of the friendly farm animals. The kids did not once ask to watch TV. We will be back! Thank you for everything Ms. Irene.

Beautiful and charming
We stayed two nights at the Ranch House to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The house is extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and has many thoughtful and small touches designed to make your stay wonderful. The property is beautiful and there is so much to see and do both onsite and within a short drive. We will absolutely be back and can’t wait to stay here again.

Fun on the Farm
We loved our stay at the Ranch House. Irene was great and gave us a tour of the farm. The kids got to pet horses and goats. We were afraid they would get bored but at the end of our stay they didn’t want to leave. They are already asking to go back.

Farmhouse Vacation
Our farmhouse vacation was absolutely perfect! The house is exactly as the listing describes and is so clean and well maintained. Our children loved to walk to the pond to fish and the property manager Irene is amazing! We were able to see all the farm animals and see the baby goats. The views from the kitchen are incredible to see the horses an cows grazing and to see the sunset at night. We will definitely be back in the fall.

Love the Ranch House
Back again! We enjoy this cosy cabin which is always immaculate inside and out. The large back patio is a stunner and looks out into the fields where cows graze. It makes for a quiet and relaxing weekend and just a hour and a half drive from Scottsdale. Also recommend the Clear Creek Winery a half mile down the road with good wine and outdoor seating.
