"The Antietam Overlook Inn is a wonderful B&B perfectly situated on a hilltop in the Maryland Piedmont, just minutes away from Antietam Nat'l Battlefiield, Sharpsburg MD and Shepherdstown WV. The wilderness setting is stunning -- I saw more wildlife in one hour drinking my morning coffee than I saw in an entire day in Shenandoah Nat'l Park. "We never seen anyone other than a strange old man sitting in a room off the kitchen who didn’t speak.Honest review of someone who loves B&Bs and the charm. Pros-Before arrival the host was very tentative with answering questions. Such as we needed an iron but they had a steamer (big plus). They had snacks and drinks to grab headed out the door.
