I assume the large house next to the rental was the owner so I knocked and rang, but no one answered. The microwave was pretty dirty inside. I also wanted to use the hot tub but could not find it in the dark. There is very little lighting outside after dark and no map of the property. The door was unlocked and the keys were on the microwave upon arrival, but I was unsure if there was a...

"Our stay at Aptos Bayview cottage, could not have been better. The cottage is just lovely as are Joe and Melody. So hospitable. They brought us freshly made chocolate cake with fresh berries and whipped cream. Made us feel right at home. Very clean and bright, and just totally felt cozy. Will stay again forsure. "

"Quiet comfortable home. Love that it’s 30 minutes from the entrance of Yosemite. Rooms were very clean but floors and kitchen need more attention to detail. Host communicated well. "

"Calm and quiet retreat off the beaten path. Really liked the spot and the hottub and laundry were great perks. Tons of things to keep the kids occupied and the wifi was fast if needed. Nice and close to the national parks as well. "

"We Absolutely loved this property. The owners were fantastic and they were very communicative. It was so comfortable and cozy. You can tell the owners really put a lot of thought into their property and love hosting. There were so many amazing trails. I wish we could’ve stayed longer and explored more. The cottage could not have been more perfect for my little family of 4. My little ones are two and five and had so much fun exploring and playing around the property.We will definitely be back."
