"Midweek trip to Buxton and surrounding area. Host, Louise was extremely helpful before during and after our stay. The rooms are modern, well equipped and very comfortable for short stays. The property is very well located for public transport and just a short walk to Buxton attractions We would highly recommend "

"The room we stayed in at the back of the pub called The Old Barn was amazing. So clean, eco friendly and spacious. We did think the top floor overlooking the lounge area could be utilised better as there was just a massive dining table in there. The staff and dining in the pub was exceptional. "

"Finding Rushop Hall was a challenge - did I really have to drive up a bridle path? Yes! But so worth the journey. We'd asked for an evening meal and it was excellent: bruschetta, parma wrapped chicken breasts in a delicate sauce, chocolate brownies with icecream and a berry compote, as was the choice of wine. All freshly cooked. Stupendous breakfast too. The bedroom was comfortable with a sofa, books to read, good toiletries. My only quibble was the pillows, which were a bit lumpy, and...

"Lovely comfortable stay @ the Parsons house b & b. Traditional cottage style house with quirky decor & a lot of original quirky fixtures & fittings. No kettle etc but David always makes sure you have tea or coffee freshly made whenever you want one. Lovely breakfast all fresh produce & everyone must try the breakfast trifle it’s delicious. Would recommend, it’s in a great location too Thank you Deb & Simon"

"I've stayed here 2 years running and found it ideal. Clean, comfortable and stylish. Breakfast is cereal, crackers and milk in the fridge. Theres a pub next door which does full English breakfasts if you book the previous evening. "

"Stayed here for 2 night's in June and loved it, the place is warm and welcoming, the bed was massive and comfy with plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. Shower was easy to use and very clean, definitely stay here again. Breakfast was freshly cooked and cooked how you like it, the host was friendly and veey helpful."

"This was a lovely home with gracious and helpful hosts, off-street parking and a fabulous garden right next door to a historic 14th century Norman church. Alistair gave us lots of very helpful information about beautiful local walks, along with excellent maps and detailed instructions.
