"When we walked into the home, we were floored by the incredible view of the coast. The location just north of Brookings it perfect to be close to town but still be quiet. We slept with the windows open to enjoy the sea sound and the cool air. Brookings is great for going to Redwood National Park and also go up the Oregon Coast. Tide pools just down at the beach are awesome. "

"Very clean, fantastic views of the ocean and shore, great sunset viewing. Everything we needed and more in the unit. Kitchen is great, bathroom is small. Very comfortable for the small size of the unit. Very easy to get to town, beaches, etc. from this location. "

"Truly perfect home for a family vacation! The new deck is simply fabulous - almost as fab as the view. The home is so well appointed it's like family lives there full time! We appreciate all the "extras" - cushy throws, the fire pit, extra bedding, the chef's kiss kitchen! This was our second visit to this paradise and we're planning our 2026 return!"

"We had a wonderful stay with Adele and Rich. Our family of 4 had plenty of room in the guesthouse. The house itself is designed to be comfortable and inspiring, and it is. We appreciated the artful touches.The property has incredible views and access to a beach that is simply one of the best I've ever spent time on. "Perfect location for visiting the redwoods and Samuel Boardman (plus other great OR beaches). The views from the patios are absolutely amazing. We enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch in the morning and watching the sunset in the afternoon. The suite was as described on line. The owners have thought of everything! "We had an amazing day! Loved that the house was so comfortable. Had some friends over in the evening and played cards at the big table. Everything we needed was there. We would definitely stay here again."

"This is a beautiful house with a great view! Even though the neighborhood felt secluded (which we loved), it's still within walking distance of Whaleshead Beach if you cross the highway, and just a few minutes' drive from other beaches, trails, and town. Bonus: it's less than an hour from the Redwoods state and national parks. The host was communicative and answered my questions promptly, and the instructions for checking in/out were clear and easy. We will definitely be staying here again!"
