Grandview ~ Riverfront with play set, hot tub, kayaks and outdoor patio

Welcome to Grandview! A 1050 square foot two bedroom/two bath waterfront cabin perched on a bluff above the lower Mountain Fork River.
Grandview has a huge river deck and a concrete platform at the river level for easy access to the crystal clear water for swimming, kayaking, fishing or enjoying your morning cup of coffee. There is also a covered patio with a seasonal outdoor fireplace, heaters, and a TV so rain won't keep you from enjoying your time at the river!

LIVING AREA
The open concept kitchen/dining/ and living area make up the first floor along with a bedroom and bath.
The views cannot be beat from the windows in the living room! There is also a gas fireplace for the colder months.
Plenty of seating with a couch, love seat, and recliner.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully stocked with full size stainless appliances including a dishwasher as well as all necessary small appliances including a toaster, microwave, blender, mixer, and crock pot. All dishware and cookware are there to make cooking your meals on vacation easy and convenient.
The coffee pot is a regular Mr Coffee and we provide coffee basics to help make packing easier.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Grandview has two queen beds. One upstairs with its own ensuite (shower only, no tub) and one downstairs next to the full hall bath.
The couch is also a sleeper sofa in the living room and linens are provided. If you have extra kids you want to bring, there are air beds and linens in the upstairs bedroom closet.

LAUNDRY
A new full size stackable washer and dryer are at the cabin and laundry detergent and bleach are provided.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
If you'd like to do a longer float, contact Wild Goose Kayak Rentals. They're just 3 minutes from the cabin! They offer 3 different float trips to fit your exact needs.
A quick 15-minute drive will get you to downtown Broken Bow for restaurants and lots of choices for boutique shopping.
A 25-minute drive north will take you to Hochatown, Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake. Enjoy hiking the trails or sampling the food trucks and restaurants. There is also the petting zoo and a drive through safari. Tons of outdoor activities like zip lining, boat tours, ATV and jeep rentals, pontoon rentals, guided fishing trips, and golfing can be enjoyed while there.
Our area also has plenty of spas to choose from or even in cabin traveling massage therapists.
Don't forget about our local wineries and breweries!

PETS
Up to two dogs are allowed at Grandview with an additional $100 pet fee. Please include your pets in your initial reservation.

RIVER ACCESS
Some cabins in our area boast about being "close" to Mountain Fork River, but we are on Mountain Fork and you have access to the water at your cabin for fishing or swimming. The water level does fluctuate depending on the release schedule from the Corp of Engineers at the lake. We have no way to predict the river level since release is based on rain and the amount of electricity needing to be produced. It's pretty safe to say that during the summer, the water level will be normal or low, which means it will be about waist deep in front of the cabin.

ADDITIONAL SPACE
Have more than 6 in your group? Kingfisher and Hideaway are on each side of Grandview, but close enough to enjoy the river together!

RULES
Please read the rental agreement carefully. It basically states you wonā€™t sue us and the pet fee will be deducted from your security deposit if you donā€™t pay it. The security deposit is a hold placed on the credit card on file, not an actual charge. It will be released after your check out when no damage is caused to the property. The security deposit for Grandview is $300.

We had a great stay at this property. The description and photos represented the property well. We really enjoyed that the hot tub, fire pit and playground were all in the same area so that the kids could play and ease of keeping everyone together at the same spot. Everything was well maintained and guide books helped answer any questions. We brought a trailer and had plenty of room to park it for the weekend.

The cabin was perfect in every way. Clean, well organized, perfect location, abundant outdoor space, kitchen has everything you need, outdoor grill, television in four areas, two fire places, hot tub, play ground for the adults and kids, all while also enjoying being right on the river.

The property overall was excellent. For me, the bed wasnā€™t too comfortable and the hot tub needed to be cleaned. It smelled like mold. And had a bunch of stuff floating in it but besides that awesome place. Beautiful.

A weekend getaway is just what our family needed in between the holidays and this was the perfect spot! It is so peaceful just sitting by the river or soaking in the hot tub, the kids loved the playground and watching Christmas movies on the back porch. We will definitely be back!

Loved the entire stay. Not too far from town & enjoyed the convenience of kayaking the river right from the cabin. Beautiful river access if you want to kayak or peaceful sitting area to drink your coffee or favorite beverage. This cabin was amazing. I will definitely be back. I loved that the kyaks were there and this cabin has the best launch of any of the cabins around. The beds were memory foam. All the places I have stayed and paid top money for have horrible beds and that negates your entire experience. If your looking for the best place to get away and relax this is the place!!! I enjoyed my coffee in the morning on the side deck with fireplace and deck midway down to the river. It was all so magical. Thank you so very much for sharing your cabin with us.

We booked this cabin as a small family vacation and had such an amazing time! The inside and outside of the property were clean and very nice. The host was speedy to respond to any questions we had and was super nice! We accidently left our nice newborn stroller and the host was able to ship it back to us which was so sweet of the host to go out of their way to help us get it back. Highly recommend this as your next vacation stay!

We had the best time at The Grandview during our summer vacation with our dog and ten year old! The cabin was spotless, fully furnished, and ready for our week of fun. The owners were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for our week-long stay. The grounds were immaculate and full of fun yard games, activities, kayaks, playground area for the kids, fire pit, and hot tub. We were also impressed with the mosquito system that made our outdoor time more comfortable. We will definitely return!

We stayed here for several nights during a massive thunder storm that flooded much of the area (and the southern US). Even so, we enjoyed this cabin very much. The view (rain or shine) is amazing and just relaxes you instantly. They have mosquito a treatment system, so sitting on the back porch sipping coffee in the morning is wonderful (and mostly bug free). The cabin is very large for 2-4 people and set up well for indoor or outdoor use. Any more than 4 people and being inside for too long would be noisy and feel tight (lots to do outside when it is not raining). Severe rain and flooding prevented us from hiking around, using the kayaks on the river or the outdoor grill and fire pit, but everything appeared really well maintained. The backup generator functioned perfectly when the storm got really big and knocked out area power. Public power went out and generator power came right back on - perfect! The kitchen is well stocked (bring your own spices and condiments as well as food). The kitchen, beds and bathroom are clean. Everything worked perfectly. Our final evening and morning were beautiful and the sun was out. We will be back to explore the area again. When we visit we will stay in this cabin for sure!

We played corn hole, we watched two of the ALCS series games, we enjoyed the sauna after a long hike at Beavers Bend State park, next night we grilled steakā€™s outdoor and sat by the fire pit. In the early mornings we sat outside and drank coffee while we watched the river flow by. It was exactly how we planned it.
