"Whole establishment was grimy and shabby. Room was very expensive for what it was, two old beds, a shower room barely big enough to turn around in. Black mould in the shower, toilet seat very heavily stained. Staff were pleasant and helpful and food was ok. Wouldn’t recommend or use again."

"An absolute gem! A wonderful authentic pub offering such comfortable and friendly accommodation. The restaurant food is delicious and the full English breakfast is the best I can remember. The village is delightful.. and we were lucky enough to stay a Thursday when there is music, and we also had the best Mortis dancing! Such a memorable stay! Thank you"

"Welcome was lovely, room was really pretty with nice touches, pretty noisy though, you'll be lucky to get a solid nights sleep. Breakfast wasnt great either sadly. Overall though it was a lovely, pretty, welcoming hotel for a single night stay."
