"Lovely country pub with good beer and food in a small, quiet village. Nice, well kept garden with seating. Excellent room, a good size and very well appointed with a nice bathroom. Highly recommended. "

"Absolutely lovely. Booked through Expedia. Upon arrival we were expected & welcomed by the host. The place was family run and everyone we encountered was brilliant, all working together & multitasking, like a well oiled machine. We stopped in room 12 on the 1st floor, it even had a little balcony with astro turf, table & chairs to allow us to sit out and watch the sunset over the trees in the distance. "Can't praise the Queens Head enough. Very friendly welcoming staff, excellent menu choices all reasonably priced, very clean and comfortable accommodation. The Queens Head is situation in an ideal location to explore the Yorkshire Dales, Yorkshire Moors as well as the historic spa town of Harrogate. Very quite village location. "

"would be 5 stars for service but its unmanned on arrival. however lovely service at breakfast which full english was delicious. Room 5 on the top floor was perfect - so quiet and relaxing - nice view and the large walk in shower was excellent! bed was so comfy - best sleep for a long time. couldn't get parked as only 5 spaces in private car park but can park just metres away on public road. two minute walk to start of town centre."

"We spent three nights in June at the Crowne Plaza and would go back without hesitation. Pros: air conditioning, extremely comfortable king-sized bed (slightly firm), designated quiet rooms, close proximity to all of the restaurants and shops. Cons: nothing comes to mind"

"We had a lovely long weekend at the Cedar Court where all the staff, both at reception and throughout the restaurant, were extremely helpful and informative about what was available in and around Harrogate. We cannot praise them highly enough,, and looking forward to our next visit to see more of the Moors and Dales."

"All of the staff truly made this the most enjoyable vacation ever! However one stood out, it was the front office manager Gergana who greeted us with warmth and professionalism that went above and beyond! At one point we were just struggling with time zone changes and the heat that had unexpectedly surprised everyone in England, she not only guided us to make arrangements with venues that were available in the later hours and air conditioned, she helped us make our bookings and get the most out...
