The food was excellent and the dining room service was excellent…..evening meal and breakfast. The views were incredible, the location was beautiful. "Room was in good condition however it was a disabled room that was not advised on booking. There was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Seeing the disabled room I immediately requested a room change but here was not much enthusiasm as we had a 2 night stay and was told the hotel was full the following night so not much they could do and on the first night there were currently no other made up rooms. Overall the staff at the bar and in the restaurant and around the hotel...

"This was our 3rd visit to The Inn at South Stainley. We had 4 days and 3 nights and again we enjoyed ourselves. We had our dinner for 3 nights at The Inn which were filling and excellent. Likewise can be said for the breakfast we also had. The room we stayed in was in premises alongside The Inn which was of a high standard and serviced daily. Hopefully we will be back. Thanks"

"Had a lovely weekend here. This hotel was perfect. Nice and quiet but lively enough to provide a pleasant ambiance without ever being noisy or overbearing. Staff throughout were lovely and the food is very good. Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to get away and relax."
