"Really lovely hotel. A lovely mix of modern and art deco. The room was spacious and very comfortable. It was a little noisy from the restaurant downstairs, but next time we'll just ask for a room in a different spot. The staff were lovely, especially those in the bar/restaurant. "

The only thing that could be improved, and I did mention this at reception, was the lack of suitable electric socket near a mirror, the hairdryer supplied in the room did not reach the mirror meaning you could not see your hair whilst drying it. "A pretty village pub in a lovely location. Spacious room ( we were given an upgrade), very comfortable bed. Excellent well cooked breakfast. But best of all the very welcoming friendly and efficient staff. They could not have been more charming and helpful "

"St Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive. Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing...

"One of the best places to stay with a dog. Staff are very dog friendly and the property is quite large to walk your dog around so it's very convenient. The rooms also have a good sized bath so it was excellent! "

"Pequeno hotel familiar, inserido numa localidade com História e muito encanto. Os quartos são relativamente grandes, no entanto com pouca arrumação. Cama pouco confortável. O facto de ter um bar/pub localizado no rés do chão, leva a que o barulho possa ser incomodativo para os mais sensíveis (felizmente chovia e raras foram as ocasiões). Serviço de quarto praticamente inexistente. Pequeno almoço apesar de pouco diversificado, com o suficiente para enfrentar o dia. Pessoal simpático o suficiente...
