Enjoy the great outdoors and beautiful Green Lake in this lake-front Family Fun Cottage! This Classic Maine Cabin allows you to get away and enjoy time with the young ones. With two awesome lofts for the kids and two bedrooms, this cottage offers plenty of sleeping space. Take advantage of outdoor water sports- Kayaking, Canoeing, Fishing, Swimming, or bring/rent your own boat-Your backyard is the LAKE! A quick and easy drive brings you to beautiful Acadia National Park and the amazing town of Bar Harbor where incredible dining and shopping await. Make lasting memories at the Family Fun Cottage! Please note that summer bookings are Saturday to Saturday - 7 nights.

All the comforts of home, peaceful, tranquility and not far from Bar Harbor
If your looking for a place that’s tranquil and beautiful look no further! The kids loved all the games, kayaks and climbing up a ladder to go to bed! Lol I loved the tranquility, fire pit, listening to the loons and kayaks myself! It was a 20 min ride to Acadia/ Bar harbor and explore and 10 min from a Walmart!! Lol can’t get any better than that!!

Very nice place on an awesome lake
This place worked great for our family of 5. Bedrooms and lofts are tiny but gave everyone in the family thier own place to sleep and the main room was large enough for all with high ceiling and ceiling fans. Best part by far is the lake itself with a great outside setup and access to all the kayaks, canoe and paddle board. Only downside was having to bring your own sheets and having to take the trash to an off-site location, but not a big deal and well worth it.

Perfect lakefront cabin in the woods
We loved the serenity of the cabin for peaceful times of tranquility and relaxation. Close enough to Acadia for all our hiking adventures and Bar Harbor for great dining. Cabin had all the necessities for the kitchen, well-stocked with watercraft (SUP, kayak, canoe, paddles and life jackets). Lofts we’re great for the kids — and they loved the fire pit for s’mores. The small deck “on” the water seemed funny at first, but is a really special add to relax in the afternoon and feel that sunshine, very comfy gravity chairs for great vibe. Thanks for making our Maine vacation one of the best vacations ever!

Lovely cabin on the lake
We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed this particular lakefront cabin. Beautiful views from the cabin (it practically sits right on the lake) and loved all of the boats at our disposal. The shallow shore was great for the kids to play and catch fish and frogs!

Acadia cabin
Our family visited Acadia for the first time this summer. We chose this cabin to stay at so we would be on at a lake on the days we weren’t exploring. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board. The cabin was just like the pictures. Our teenagers loved having their own lofts to sleep in. It was a bit longer drive to Acadia each day than we thought (about 45 minutes) but it was doable.

Beautiful spot on a quiet cove
Everything was exactly as described. The best part about this house is the site. Great shallow water for little ones and easy walk-in swimming to deeper water. Loved the lofts for the kids and the fire pit. Neighbors are close-ish but quiet and the cove is protected from motorized boats - having the boats already on site was great. I loved to lie in bed looking at the lake. Had to buy a few rounds of firewood and drinking water, but the location is convenient to Ellsworth businesses. Eric couldn’t have been more responsive and made everything easy. The house was just right for a quiet family vacation yet close to a lot of fun places to adventure.

Great experience definitely worth the drive to Maine
My family's first time visiting Maine. Cabin was immaculate when we arrived. Eric was a pleasure throughout the whole process and always answered any questions I had. Even texted me the night we arrived to make sure everything went smoothly for our arrival.. We loved being able to step out the back door of the cabin and just enjoy the fire pit and the amazing view of Green lake. He has 2 kayaks which my kids loved going out daily on the lake. On the rainy days my kids enjoyed Netflix and the WiFi. Definitely would highly recommend this cabin and Eric to rent from!!!!

Exactly what we were looking for
We had a very relaxing week at the property! The house was clean, well kept, and had all the amenities we needed. There isn’t a bad time to be outside, morning coffee was lovely, sunning, swimming , and using the kayaks, canoes, and paddleboard were also very enjoyable. The kids really enjoyed the lofts. Great for families! The hardest part was leaving. Eric was a great host!
