Luxury jungle home with pool, minutes from ocean

We love our beautiful jungle retreat and hope you will too. We've been living here for 5 years but will be opening it up as a full time rental from December 2023 (hence not many reviews yet) Among the highlights - a 10-meter lap-pool and patio, Balinese-inspired outside bathroom with tub, fully equipped gym, a front-row seat on a vibrant jungle canopy, fast fiber-optic Internet, and only 5-10 minutes to shopping, beaches and waterfalls.
The space
The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an office / gym space. The master bedroom has a queen bed, while the other bedrooms have a double and a single. A large inflatable bed is available for extra sleeping capacity. The house sits on a 1.25 acre, newly landscaped plot right next to pristine, jungle. The huge veranda gives you the feeling of being on a platform among the trees - your own private nature reserve. Every day you'll see some of Costa Rica's rich wildlife passing through. We see toucans, parrots, howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, blue morpho butterflies and hummingbirds on a daily basis. The jungle creates a cool micro-climate, which combined with a steady breeze and the house's good ventilation makes it comfortable without air-conditioning - though the master bedroom does have AC. The outdoor bathroom is a very special feature - there are few better feelings than relaxing in the tub at dusk or early morning while listening to the jungle's song and the waves crashing on the beaches below. There's a fully equipped gym space with a Peloton bike, weights, punching bag, and a ping pong table. The house is in a gated, guarded community, making it very secure.

Please note that the house is in a quiet, private community. We want you to have fun but please no loud parties/music late into the night past 11 pm.

A good 4X4 or at least AWD vehicle is recommended, expecially in rainy season (September through November) . Parts of the dirt road up to the house are steep and especially tricky when its wet.
