Welcome to River Round House! We're thrilled to introduce our new cabin starting December 2024. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your stay:

General Info:
     •    Age Requirement: Must be 25 years or older. Name on reservation must match the credit card. Identity verification required. The booking party must be present at check-in.
     •    Free Activities: Enjoy one free ticket to top activities in the area every day of your stay.

About River Round House:
     --Location: Nestled conveniently approximately 10-12 minutes east of Boone in a residential neighborhood close to the South Fork of the New River. 
     --Capacity: Sleeps a maximum of 4 guests. Bed and Bath linens are provided. 

Features:
     •    Bedrooms: 2 bedrooms with queen size beds on lower level (entry level)

           o    One bedroom has a Roku TV
           o    The bathroom is a Jack & Jill bathroom with access to each bedroom.
           o    The washer/dryer is located in the 2nd bedroom on lower level
           o    There is also a full bathroom on the main level with a step in shower.

Main level: Living Room has 2 couches that manually reclines on each end and a powered recliner, 65" Roku TV, electric fireplace, and access to the main deck. The 2nd full bathroom, kitchen and dining are on the main level. 
     Amenities:
          o    Ductless Mini-Splits in each bedroom and main floor. Mini-Splits are high energy efficiency units with flexible zoning options to cool or heat specific rooms individually and has quiet operation. Each bedroom can have different heat or AC temps to customize to your comfort level.
          o    Pet-friendly (maximum of 2 well-behaved, crate-trained dogs; sorry, no cats).
          o    High-Speed WiFi
          o    2 TVs with Roku
          o    Fully stocked kitchen: Regular Coffee Maker, Crock Pot, blender, hand mixer (NO Dishwasher)
          o    Washer and Dryer located on lower level in a closet

     •    Dining: Table for 4.

Outdoor Space:
     •    Open deck overlooking the gas fire pit to enjoy the sounds of Mother Nature
     •    Gas Fire Pit with seating
     •    Quiet neighborhood with common area access to the South Fork of the New River about half mile away.

Pet Policy:
     •    $100 non-refundable pet fee per pet-2 dog maximum. Must be well behaved, leash/crate trained, 2+ years old and weighing less than 45 pounds.
     •    Pick up after your dog and dispose of waste in the trash. The fee does not cover excessive pet hair or damages.

Safety & Privacy:
     •    Exterior Camera: Located near main entrance. No cameras inside the home or private areas outside the home.

     •    Downtown Boone/King Street: 6.8 miles for shopping, dining, and attractions.
     •    Appalachian State University: 7 miles/16 minutes
     •    Lowes Foods of Boone: 6 miles/13 minutes.
     •    Tweetsie Railroad: 10 miles/21 minutes.
     •    Blowing Rock: 13.5 miles/26 minutes.
     •    Appalachian Ski Resort: 14 miles/27 minutes.
     •    Grandfather Mountain: 28.5 miles/56 minutes
     •    Sugar Mountain Ski Resort: 22 miles/42 minutes.
     •    Hawksnest Tubing/Zip Lining: 20.5 miles/42 minutes.
     •    Beech Mountain Ski Resort: 30 miles/58 minutes.
     •    West Jefferson, NC: 22 miles/30 minutes.

Additional Notes:
     •    Kitchen Supplies: Well-stocked with utensils, cookware, dinnerware, regular coffee maker, and a starter set--2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, dishwashing liquid, liquid hand soap at all sinks, and black makeup wash cloths. Additional supplies may be needed. Sorry for the inconvenience but there is no dishwasher at our cabin.

     •    Check-In/Out:
           o    Check-In: After 4:00 PM
           o    Check-Out: By 10:00 AM

     **Winter Travel: 4wd/AWD and/or chains recommended from November through March. Be prepared for possible inclement weather.

Cancellation Policy:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel 45 days prior to arrival is subject to a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. The cancellation fee for stays over 28 nights will be 20% of the rental rate. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
