"The cottage that we rented was clean enough, however, the amenities were definitely not up to par. The grounds were obviously not kept up with very well, the community bathrooms need a deep cleaning and the pool water appeared green and had scum floating on the surface. My wife and I decided not to risk it for fear of getting sick. The staff was not present. There is no office for checking in or any other purpose. We are unlikely to visit this location again."

"Rght on the Guadalupe with a very spacious stone deck, tables, pool, BBQ pits and beautiful trees to shade the area. Nice big grass area down by the river. Owners are very accommodating and you can tell they take pride with the upkeep of the rooms and property overall. We stayed 2 nights and had a great time meeting others staying at Horseshoe Riverside. We will be back! Thank you Doc and Wendy for a nice and comfortable getaway."

"Yes hot tub was nice and pool was clean just too cold to swim in this month . Enjoyed the hiking trails on the property and a short drive into Wimberly for some shopping . There’s a HEB in Wimberly too fro your groceries. Eric is the property manager and he is a very nice person! Will definitely stay here again given the opportunity. "
